8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC

Hi everybody!
WOW!! 35 pages for a cruise that we can't even officially book yet - I'm impressed. I only got through page 3, so far (girl's gotta work some time).

We are on THE LIST for the EB Repo. Anyone know what time booking starts on Wed.?? We are 4 hours earlier than FL time. Is my cell phone gonna ring at like 2 am??

Anyway the sk8fam is me, DH, and the DSs who will be 8 & 9-10 (birthday on board!) when we sail. It will be our 3rd DCL trip. I'm SOOOOOO excited!
It is a sad fact that I have no idea where my family will be living in 6 months (DH is military), but I'm planning a vacation more than 18 months away! DH thinks I'm nuts, I call it a coping mechanism.

Just got of the phone with a supervisor at DCL and i asked about a ball park figure for a CAT6,two adults and two 13year olds it will be OVER $12,000 was her answer....
I'll still be trying on the 31st but the lady spoke of $9,500 for a cat 11 so things aint looking great.....

Hi Everyone,

We are all set and hopefully will have a cat 6 on the 31st. My new best friend "Ta Maider" otherwise known as Chuck has his staff on the case.

I booked a fake date while onboard in August, just recently increased my deposits to $2,000 since the deposit will be $500 per person so my TA should only have to call and change the sailing date.

If all goes well we will be part of what is already a big happy family.

I was recently chatting with lbgraves(Lisa) and she said something that really struck a chord.

Everyone's talk of what will be celebrated on this cruise got me thinking of what my family would have.

My DS 13th bday - Sept 6
Parents 60th wedding anniversary (Nov) - yes I said 60th - if we make it on this cruise I will need all my DIS folks to really make this special for them.

I just heard that they moved back the date to call for ressies....it is now Febr 1st!

Your right looking at 4x$1699 =$6796 ...am lost sorry,why not simply put the prices on the website for all to see now then first come first served on the 31st instead of all this bloody cloak and dagger stuff....

If you think this is going to work with this group, you are crazy. LOL! People are going to be calling DCL every day until they open it up.

I really think that this is because training doesn't start until Monday & you know how those CS CMs at DCL are about wrong info sometimes.

DD will be 8 on 9/4/08.
DS will be 10 on 11/14/08.
Our 11th Anniversary will be on 10/25/08.
DH & I will both turn 41 in 2008.

Hi everyone! I didn't get through all the pages of posts (I'll leave that for our next ice storm ), but did put our reservation request in with DU. It will be really great if we can really make this happen. I remember reading all the live posts with envy during repo cruises in 2005.

If we go, it will be me, DH, DD (13) and DS (10). The kids will have to miss the first week of school but I figure I'll have plenty of time to work that out with their schools.

Okay...this isn't big news, but here goes:

My TA had a fax from DCL this afternoon. It said that DCL's Inventory Control will have completed all of the calls to people who sent in requests, by Wednesday.

Trouble is, they didn't say WHICH Wednesday! Would that be the 24th, or the 31st???
