Caroline, stop making DH out to be such a scarey one to approach with such things. Don't you remember, he ended up adopting Bobby for a while after the sail away. I think that he will be just fine with all of this.

It's 2 hours now. I am in the middle of cleaning up the tornado's remnants. OY! I forgot how much of a mess 4 yos can make...not that my kids are that neat or anything but everything was dumped out of the boxes onto the floor. OY!

staying up here a little later than usual, thank you EVERYONE again for good wishes, the operation is called a ''tympanoplasty'' she has two perferated ears, one is not good to operate on the small bone under the 'drum' is erroding with 10% loss of hearing, but hearing might get better if it fully erodes?? he other will be operated on next Wednesday.

At a young age she had 'gromit's put in, in each ear, it appears this proceedure was not completed correctly and after suffering eareache on our last cruise the Disney Magic doctor said she had holes on the eardrums and had had so for a long time. We were told by UK docotors no problem, now going private.

If you know anything please PM me as it will be hard to keep up with the pace of this thread.

The Harry Potter movie Order of the Phoenix comes out July 13th I think and now the last book on the July 21st.

When the last book came out we went to Meijers for the midnight opening and they were selling the books for $10 cheaper than everyone else.

I might just have to plan to do this with DS this time...since it will be the last book & all. If he can stay up that late. He has his HP costume & all. Then DD will want to go to but she would fall asleep waiting.

Potter 7 release date is revealed


It's the news fans have been waiting for - the seventh and final Harry Potter book will be published on Saturday 21 July 2007.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows has already topped the best seller list for one online shop even though no-one knew when it would be released.

But now JK Rowling has confirmed the publication date on her website.

The book will go on sale in the UK, America and all English-speaking countries at one minute past midnight.

That's just eight days after fifth film, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is released in cinemas.

Who will die?

JK Rowling has said that two characters die in the final book and Potter fans are desperate to find out if their hero Harry is one of them.


JK Rowling confirmed the publication date on her website

Book shops are preparing themselves for scenes of Potter mania when the children's hardback, adult hardback, gift edition and audio book are all released at the same time.

Plans are already in place to help postal workers get the book to fans.

The last book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, sold more than two million copies in the UK on the first day of its release, making it the fastest-selling book of all time!

Is that like the UK version of putting tubes in her ears....?

My 3yo nephew has tubes. Seems it runs in his father's side that the kids need tubes. Shawn, my nephew, had several ear infections so bad that his ear drum ruptured and actually bled. Each time their doc said no problem. After the second time, i begged my sis to get them to let her see a specialist. Good thing she did. He was starting to lose hearing but after the tubes is doing much better and hearing has returned.
