8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC Part 4

Morning All.......Not botherg to scroll through all I've missed. I read the summaries and see it was alot of Blah Blah Blah.....

So my boys were in the background on GMA and DS Ryan 6 (standing just to the right of Diane Sawyer outside) decided to stick out his tounge several times to millions of people. So i informed him since he did that to millions of people that he should expect everyone who saw the show to be sticking their tounges out at him. I have enlisted the help of friends and family and needless to say DS is not very happy that everyone keeps sticking out their tounges at him.

The joys of parenthood and the tortures we inflict upon our offspring.

Tomorrow is the Big PineWood Derby for all of SI. Ryan won 1st Place for Tigers in our Pack. Devin won 1st place for the pack...so both will be competing in the islandwide derby tomorrow. Wish us Luck.

I'll be popping in and out today. Saturday is my cleaning day (yuck) and errand day, so I have alot to do.

ROFLMAO!!! I just read this to my family & DS got a kick out of it. He said that we could do that too. I am thinking that the cruise would be too far away though so I can take a picture of the kids doing that & post it here for him.

We're getting off the ship there. The kids will probably be missing school at that point, and I want to be able to send them back to school with an excuse note saying, "Pardon the absence as ___ was in South America on that date."

I'm beginning to agree. Any excuse to get more history into the kids. It makes a huge difference for them to see it, too. DS10 is studying World History this year. Next month he'll be on the Mayans. He thought it was so cool to see the Mayan ruins and can't wait to learn more. He claims history as his favorite subject so we do whatever we can to encourage it . . .

my DD seems to enjoy it too..we did Smithsonian this summer and she enjoyed it so much more than I thought she would!!! We are going to concentrate on more local historical stuff this year (skipping big trip due to this cruise! Would love to see mayan ruins!

OK - all caught up!!!

scrapbooking - everytime you guys bring it up I feel ...I have a closet full of albums - mostly Disney - and all kinds of scrapbooking stuff I have picked up along the way. Tons of photos to organize - tons on the computer yet to be printed out. At this point, I don't even know where to start....and with the time I am spending here - what are the chances of starting on that stuff in the next 18 months??!!!!
