Claire thank you for sharing. Was it as lovely as it looks ?
Would you stay in CC again? :)

It was lovely, and it won DBF over to Disney a bit more as it was a more relaxed experience, it was so easy to get from our room to the parks, our room was just minutes away from the park, and also Main Street lobby, and the shop so it was easy to quickly go down and meet characters at the photo location.

It was lovely to have the lounge as the rest of the hotel seemed very busy, when we went down to the main floor to see the characters the breakfast queues were very long. You could see the parade from the lounge, not a great view however its still nice.

The VIP fastpass was useful as DD loved going on BTM, so she could go on more times then if we did not have the fastpass.

I think the only negative is that even though our room was near to everything, it also meant it was a bit noisy, we could hear the piano from the Fantasia bar from our room. They was also a lot of building work going on in fantasia gardens in preparations for April, most of the work took place at night which created noise, though this should be finished within the next week.

The CM were fantastic however this is not just limited to the castle club CM, The CM in the parks were all brilliant, cheerful and polite, they all made an effort with kids. I saw none of the rudeness that I have seen reported here.

We are thinking about doing Castle Club September 2008, so hopefully we will have warmer weather than March. I don't think we would pay high season prices for Castle Club.

Love the photos, thanks for sharing them.

Thanks for sharing your photos. They bring back memories of our CC stay at Christmas - lovely, relaxed feeling isn't it. Our room was over the other side of the building and was very quiet. As it was cold at Christmas we especially loved being able to go back to the hotel for a hot drink and cake in the afternoon to warm up without a queue and then go back again.

that looks fantastic! What a great view from the lounge and your room, your beds look sumptuous!

How do you book CC, I've never understood it...! I'd really love to take my mum there for her 50th in April 2009...

Thank you so much for your pictures! I hope that we can afford CC oneday!
Could I ask you for one big favour! Could you post once again (or send it to me via PM) the picture with the castle in an higher resolution! :woohoo:  :rolleyes1
It looks great! Especially with the Beauty and the Beast wagon!
How sad that we won't see this one again! :guilty:

Hi, we booked with Disney direct, you have to phone the reservation line. you can't book on the website.

Oh great, thanks very much! :)

I take it like all the disney hotels the prices vary according to the time of year you go?

Thanks Claire for posting these pictures, it was lovely to see inside the hotel. Can I just ask, roughly how much more does it cost to go Castle Club than a normal room at the Disneyland Hotel, just wondering if it's something we might be able to consider for our next trip at the end november.

Thanks

Sorry I am not too sure, we did not get a quote for a standard room. You could phone up and ask.

It looks lovely Claire. One day I may get to stay there :cloud9:

i know its dead cheeky, but what are the sorts of prices for the castle club? quite a bit more id imagine. im just dying to stay there. cant think of an occassion that would justify it at the moment tho, and i would need one otherwise DBF wont let me spend anything more than we have to!:rotfl:

Great pics! Thanks for sharing!
Looks like an amazing place to stay :goodvibes

1 quick q though - your room view pics don't have the castle in them but I thought when you paid extra for CC you could see the castle from your room :confused3 Are there CC rooms on both sides of the hotel then?

thanks so much for taking the time to share these photos....DH so wants to do this on our next visit....Im sure he will be drooling over your photos later:thumbsup2
Elaine

Yes there are CC rooms on both sides of the hotel! Some face the park and some Fantasia Gardens/Studios! But I'm not sure if you have to pay exra to get a room with park view? :confused3

:thumbsup2 Thanks!
I think if I was paying for CC, I would want to see the castle from my room.
It would be just a dream though, with my budget.
