YIKES! Supposed to get down to 41 degrees overnight tonight and high 30s with wind chill!And a frost warning for Saturday overnight! I'm SO not ready for this! Brrrrrr!!! Doesn't seem possible for fall to be here already.

Didn't mean to! Being too hot is miserable because there's not much you can do about it....at least when it gets cold, we can put more clothes on to warm up. If it's hot, you're just stuck. When will your air conditioner be taken care of?

We saw about 5 different kinds. These are pale blue with wheels on the sides and one velcro strap on top. McQueens headlights light up along with some red lights on the sides. Very cute! Problem is he's in between size 12 & 12 1/2 right now and there were NO size 12 1/2 in ANY style in the boys section, and 13 is too big, so he won't be able to wear these for long. And all the size 13s were boring styles with NO characters, so he's really bummed about his feet growing! Sad because he just turned 5 and of course he still wants cool character shoes. What are shoe makers thinking? Kids that little still want fun, cute things! So we look almost every day at different shoe places, trying to find a place that has the same cute things in larger sizes. Only place that had bigger cool stuff is Stride-Rite, which is VERY expensive for us (we always buy Wal-Mart shoes since he outgrows them so quickly anyway), but I just might have to suck it up and fork over the money. Oh well.....life goes on!
