Hey Tom - I was wondering if you were affected. Glad to hear it isn't so back yet. I have been on the run all day and this is the first I've had to check in today. Hope all continues to go well for you and prayers and good wishes to all those that will be needing it.
Let's hope that this will be contained or at lest put into some semblance of control pretty soon w/o any more losses.

I thought it strangely quiet all of a sudden... and checking outside it seems the winds are now ZERO? Strange. But now it appears all safe in our neighborhood.
Tom it might be quite at your house but it is blowing about 30-40 around the corner at our house. I have a new appreciation for all of you that have had to deal with hurricane winds. Although I think I would take rain over fire.
From what I read, they are 'sister' islands (less than 50 miles apart). Aruba is the better known of the two. Perhaps DCL is looking to develop a new port and this is the test?
Well fellow s we're getting a move on today. It's going to be a lazy day considering this is what we woke up to this morning
The backyard
The hardy maple tree
The patio table & grill
Out the front door
Yes, we've decorated for fall and Halloween...this is a bit much!
The neighbors' house and car
My car...and the reason I traded in the swanky Acura TL for a 4WD!!!
This isn't the first snowfall of the season, we had some snow last week but it vanished in about 30 minutes. These photos were taken at about 0900 this morning and the roads still have accumulation. There's about 5"-8" in the backyard.
Or this one at $1250 even more a bargain
Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes. You made a older man feel good. Crash, yes I am 41 + another 20. The mind says I feel great, the body says guess again.
Hope you had a good day.
Look forward to seeing them.Yes I did have a great day. Cheryl is going to post a couple of pictures from the party our DD had. Combined our DGD's birthday and mine on Saturday.
