I need to find her a blue necklace like Cinderella's now! This is the bow she wanted in her hair and I wasn't going to argue!

This awesome!! You did an amazing job!! I love all of the little details.

That skirt is absolutely adorable! I love the fabrics you used!! I don't see anything wrong with the ruffle, so I don't know what you're talking about! The first picture is really a combo Megan/Tessa pose. ;) I also thought the shirt matched well!

Thank you! I think it turned out better than I thought it would! It was a pain though! I don't know if I will make another one any time soon! I also thought that the first pose was a combo!

I wanted to share with you all the kinds of links Teresa sends me from ebay:

You really MUST see it! :rotfl2:

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: This is HILARIOUS and VERY SCARY at the same time! Could you picture that on a baby's head!:scared: I could just see someone bringing there precious little one home from the hospital with dead rodents on their head!:rotfl:

Okay, I am not going to keep being a tease;) Here is my latest creation that I cased from someone on this thread, but I am sorry I don't know who! Like I said, I have had this in the works for quite some time!

Sorry Heather, I had the Tessa but I don't know where it went?:confused3 Maybe I can find it and post later! Okay, and like I said before, don't look to closely at that HORRIBLE ruffle!:scared:

I love this, the colors are beautiful. I think the shirt looks great with it.

WOW!!!! That is AMAZING!!!! Great job!!!! I can't even THINK of attempting something like this. :lovestruc

Thank you so much for your response to the Cinderella dress! It means so much to me that you all like it!! I even got my first couple of :worship: s!!

I checked out your pictures and there's some great stuff on there! I love the honeycomb!! Did you make the Hercules themed outfits? Is that you as Megara? Such great picture.

I'll throw in a few more :worship: :worship: for you. The dress is spectacular.

That is me as Megara. I made all of the Hercules Family outfits including the stuffed Pegasus head :) The Meg dress was a JcPenny's formal dress that I modified. We had a blast at the Halloween Party and were selected to ride in the Boo Too You Parade. That was in 2005 when they still chose people to ride in the parade.

I also created all of the other costumes in the photos with the exception of the red power ranger. That wasn't my kid :goodvibes I absolutely love to come up with original Halloween Costumes. Someday I'll have to scan all of my old photos in as there are a lot of costumes over the last 15 years.
As you can see my crafty sides floats all over the place. We even designed and built the deck that the Micky Head Lights are on. Thanks for taking the time to look.

Deb

HEHEHEHEHE We've got you now!!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Next thing you know, you'll be needing to buy a new embroidery machine!

I am SOOOOOOO jealous of your TWO tickers!!!

NO JOKE! It's addicting here! I just started sewing seriously about 6 months ago because of this thread. I keep adding toys to the playroom! It's flat addicting!

UM, gross!

I'm so excited! I bought 2 pillowcases tonight. Heidi picked Aurora and Aleah picked Tinker Bell. They are the ones from Kmart. Then we went to Joanns and the girls picked out fabric. I'm washing it now. I also bought some random trim. I can't wait to make these dresses.

The girls wanted me to buy a Cars pillowcase for Colby, but what would I do with it? Make a giant Lightening McQueen on a t-shirt?

Hairbow makers..

where are you finding flesh color solid grosgrain ?

I am looking on a few ribbon site to place an order to make all of the princess bows and I cant find flesh.

I found mine at Walmart. If you still have a Walmart near you that sells fabric, look in the ribbon by the yard. I think mine was 27 cents a yard. I couldn't find it in the "by the spool" stuff.

I think it is adorable!!! I love those colors and those fabrics!!! The ruffle looks great, and I think the shirt goes with it too!

I'm sorry I didn't give you a sneak peak! I was so excited that I just got right on here and posted the pictures.

That smiley reminds me of Courtney! :rotfl:

I'll forgive you! And, I am laughing so loud, I'm afraid I might wake someone up!!! NO wonder I thought that smiley was so cute!!!!

Hmmm.......I wonder where Brian put his old photo albums..........

That was the 80's! :lmao: I have some great ones of him I'm sure! If not, I know I can get some from Bob. If I don't have pictures, I have lots of great stories.

I'm enjoying all of the creativity here. I am so impressed with your sewing skills. I enjoy sewing, but really don't get around to it as much as I'd like. I have my hands in way too many projects :goodvibes I added a couple of links to my signature if anyone wants to see a few of the projects that I've completed. I can think of several that aren't on those links, but I will try to add them as time allows.

Deb

Deb, I just checked out your links! You are really talented!!!
Although, two of your pictures made me cry.

EARLY 80's!!!! Personally, I would LOVE to see pictures of Brian! And hear the stories!!!! He tells me he was a perfect little angel in college!

Vicki and Deb, glad to see you guys here! WELCOME!

There are nothing but BRILLIANT and TALENTED people who love to sew for their families and loved ones! It definitely keeps my creative juices flowing!

A couple of terms you might need to know:

CASE = Copy And Steal Everything!
CAB = Coby and Butcher!

:wizard: or Voldemort = EBay

Franken = putting several pieces of different patterns together to make one item of clothing!

I am sure there are others that I missed.

This is way off topic but I am so excited. I got Lauren into the Preschool class I was hoping for! She will go 3 days a week in the mornings starting in September. I actually got the last slot in the class! I think it is beyond crazy that you have to register for preschool 9 months in advance and even then you might not get your first choice.
Ooooh, it is crazy! My girls have gone to the same school since Emily was 3, and I had heard stories of people camping out overnight for spots in preschool and our Kindergarten. Well, last year I saw it! People camped out 24 hours before registration opened to the public (church members and current students can register early). And now that I work part-time for the school this year, I'm wondering if I'll see the camp out again this year. It's just crazy!!!

Thank you so much for those definitions!!! I was thinkling Ok I've been on the DIS boards for awhile here What on earth is CASE??? :lmao:

Silly question. Why is Ebay refered to as Voldemort? (in case this is obvious I've never watched or read Harry Potter but I know the character is from that series!!:rotfl2:) am I right?
