Wedding Ceremony - Wedding Pavilion @ 2:30

Cocktail Hour @ The Grand Floridian White Hall Patio

Wedding Reception - GFBR

I have booked:

*Misty Miotto as my Photographer!!! :cheer2:

I went w/ the Gold No Frills package, b/c I decided I could print my own pictures and make my own wedding book for a fraction of the cost via mypublisher.com

*George w/ Apex Media Weddings
went w/ the "Diamond" package
http://www.apexmediaweddings.com

*Beaute Speciale for my make-up and MAYBE my hair.
http://www.beautespeciale.com/
I say MAYBE b/c I have long, thick, natural curly hair and not very many people know how to style it correctly. Since I want mine down and fully curly, I'm scared to leave my locks in the hands of a stranger on the most important day of my life! :scared:

Speaking of hair, these are some of the styles I like....let me know what you think I should go w/.

Where are my sistas at????????????? Help me w/ the hair decision please.

LOVE the dress!! The lines look good and it's very elegent looking!

Hair styles #1 and #5 are my faves. Have to say i'm not a fan of the headband though. Just not my thing. :guilty:

I Love your dress!

Thank you, both!!!!

I love the dress too b/c I've always been a tomboy and athletic so the, really girly dresses (while they are beautiful) w/ the beading and sparkles just looked akward on me. I tried them on, but they just were not me. I am very happy w/ the dress I picked. I especially love that there is NO train! Again, beutiful on other girls, just not on me.

I love your dress. So pretty. For hair choices I would do 3 or 5. I love the more natural curl look.

I love the idea of a DVD Save the Date. Where did you find the Disney font?

Your dress is so pretty and feminine. With your dress, I like hairstyle # 3 and 5 best.

By the way, you had mentioned something about peacock feathers in your centerpieces. We are having a peacock theme as well (I just love the color of peacock feathers). Although, I'm having such a hard time trying to figure out how to incorporate the feathers into my centerpieces. I've searched online for ideas, but haven't come across much.

Very pretty dress! I LOVE hair style 5. That is one that i have to show my hair lady so perhaps I'm biased! Good luck on your decisions.

You are getting married a couple weeks after me!!!:woohoo: Disney is going to be like, "What's w/ the brides and peacock feathers lately??":rotfl2:

I wll post about this soon, I promise!!! Hopefully I have pictures somewhere to help explain what I am doing for centerpieces.

Wow, Sarah! Everything looks fabulous! What an awesome idea for the save the dates! I LOVED your description of your Dad and the WDW train. LOL! Your story is so sweet and I am really looking forward to hearing more. Oh, and your furbabies are absolutely darling!
As for the ribbon headband -- I've never thought they were particularly bride-sy, but that ribbon band style would be gorgeous on you, especially considering the ribbon work on your gown. How beautiful!

Everything looks great! I am with you on the hair thing...My hair is so curly, everytime I ahve ever had it turn I look like a fuzz ball! LOL

Hello! just found your link & i'm loving hearing about all your planning! :goodvibes

Soooo here is the big question EVERYONE we talk to ALWAYS asks...

"Why Disney?"

Does anyone else get this????

I want to reply and say, "WHY NOT?" It kills me how some people think it is childish that we are getting married at the happiest place on earth. But then I have to remind myself that they are ignorant and have not had the privelege of experiencing the one place on earth that can make dreams come true!

People who aren't Disney nuts just don't get it! I will (hopefully) be a Disney bride in a few years and I'm already trying to warm my parents up to the idea, and let's just say they're not overly thrilled. They don't really like the annual trips I take with my BF and I think they're hoping I grow out of my "phase" by the time I'm ready to get married. Oh well, at least there's plenty of support here on the Dis!

anyways... your dress looks gorgeous on you, and I really like hairstyle #2 - if you do go with the headband idea, that would look really nice with that hairstyle. Good luck choosing!

I love everything so far- your description of your dad is too cute!!

BMs, STDs - what romantic abbrevs, huh?

Your dress is gorgeous and looks perfect for you! Was it fitted already?

I like hair 2 and 4. Very cute.

Many Thanks!! I'm still up in the air about the headband...we'll see what my hairstylist here can do. I need to see it in my hair to decide.

If you ever need advice on what products to use on your hair to lessen the frizz, I would be happy to share w/ you what I use and a few steps I take that some might not do.

So glad you stopped and said hello! I'm sure there are many lurkers out there, so it is always nice when someone makes themselves known. Make sure to come on back now, ya hear? :rotfl: (sorry Paula Dean is on Food Network right now)

Yes, us disboard girls are very supportive. So never fear, if you ever need some extra support or encouragement we are there for you! Good luck w/ getting the "Debbie Downers" on board for your DW! :grouphug:

Thanks! Yah, my Dad is awesome. I'm going to look and see if I can find a picture of him at Disney to show how he turns into a Big Kid the minute he is on the property. Thanks about my dress. I LOVE it! Actually, it has not been fitted. It was like it was meant to be b/c it is the perfect length on me. I'm 5'8" and thought there would be a little hemming to do, but turns out that none is needed. :yay:

So we got our engagement photos back last weekend and I would have posted them then, but I had a really busy week at work. :surfweb:

Here they are without further delay. We are really happy with how they came out. Not the typical "grip n grin" in a studio. :lmao:

The last one is the one my Mom is using for the announcement in the paper. Frank and I decided to enlarge the first one b/c as you can see in my sigie we already has a bunch of "cheek to cheek" shots.

You pics came out great!! I think the first one is my favorite.

I just found your PJ. I have to say I absolutely love Salami! That sounds funny :rotfl2: and your other dog as well. Your dress and ring are beautiful and your engagement pictures turned out very well. I am voting for hairstyle #1 and #5. Looking forward to hearing the rest of your plans!

Ooh, Chuck Taylors... YEAH! That's just great.

I love it when people chuck (no pun intended) conventionality for a little fun (as you'll learn pretty quickly about me).

I really liked hairstyle number one. It's beautiful.
