LURKYLOO's Wedding Trippie: Morocco/Attic/Lower UK: Wedding Album + Gown Preservation

Love the new pics, Carrie!! Especially the one of you guys through the trees...just looks so romantic!! :goodvibes

Hi Carrie! I stumbled on your TR and read your whole PJ this week, and am now working on your wedding report. You guys seem like so much fun - Muppets & Jobim are two of my favorite things (my favorite song of all time is Jobim's "Desafinado")! And the colors at your wedding are just gorgeous. I have to admit I spent a big chunk of time looking through the Roots blog as well thanks to your report. I am looking forward to reading more and just wanted to take a moment to tell you have lovely your wedding was, how creative you are and how much I am enjoying your report. (I actually work for a children's television network and have experience with Muppets too - a few weeks ago I met Oscar the Grouch and almost died of excitement).

lurkyloo- beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!! you photograph very well, as does your hubby. those are gorgeous pictures!! we look forward to your posts!!

WOW, those pics are so stunning!!! I love them! The Roots do really really nice work! Darn, I wish I didn't want the traditional ceremony because my first choice for an Epcot Ceremony would have been Japan, and now I can see just how beautiful it can be!!! hmm...

Carrie, here is Wazzo expressing his thanks! He bops when he is excited... hence the blurriness! Hey, kinda like you!! --> :hyper: :goodvibes (It means he loves you! :lovestruc) Thank you again!

WAZZO!!!! WHAZZUUUUUP?! I declare Wazzo the Oh-fish-all Mascot of Lurkyloo's Wedding Trippie.

:mic: ::cop: :firefight :cool2: :clown: <---- Wazzo's Induction Ceremony (It was a big event and everyone came, including the police, the fire department, Wazzo's bodyguard, and even the village idiot!)

These are the first pictures i've seen of a Bride in Japan. There really unique. Your so lucky all your pictures are good your photographer must have found it hard to pick just a few for your album.

And how - I'm doing the album myself, and let's just say that I'm running into problems with Blurb.com's 440-page limit. :rotfl:

Carrie -- These newest pix are absolutely fabulous! You both look so perfectly comfortable in that setting and in front of the camera. HOWEVER, since no one can guarantee Mr. BushyTail's guest appearance were we to do pix there, I guess we'll have to settle for something a bit more ordinary. ;)

Mr. BushyTail is something of a prima donna, I must admit. I mean, when we asked for his picture he turned around and gave us his backside! :lmao:

Your pics turned out gorgeous as usual. After seeing these, I'm definitely sold on using Japan in my Epcot portrait session. I hope they turn out half as good as yours :goodvibes

They'll be beautiful - and you'll get shots of the waterfall! :thumbsup2

its because they had you and your hubby to photograph:worship:

 You are too kind!

Hey, thanks!

(I actually work for a children's television network and have experience with Muppets too - a few weeks ago I met Oscar the Grouch and almost died of excitement).

OMG - you met Oscar? Fabulous! Someday I want to meet Mister Snuffleupagus and give him a big ol' hug! And "Desafinado" - :lovestruc ...gorgeous!

lurkyloo- beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!! you photograph very well, as does your hubby. those are gorgeous pictures!! we look forward to your posts!!

So glad you're enjoying the posts! You know, we got more than 1,500 photos that day.... maybe I should dig out some more never-before-seen pix! ::yes::

Totally awesome! I'll have to take some new, funny pics of him for future mascot responsibilities! That is if I can calm him down enough to take some non-blurry pictures! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

So yesterday I realized that I had only read bits and pieces of your trippie so I went back and read the whole thing! I looove it!

I was so excited when I first saw you had the Roots. Actually when I saw your engagement pics I thought they looked like their style. I used to work with some of their good friends and I had seen their work on facebook and loooved it. I'm so happy that you introduced the boards to them.

Also I saw somewhere you mentioned the movie "Next Stop Wonderland" So I put it in my Netflix and my roomie and I watched it the other night. Love Puff!

In short, will you be my Westcoast best friend? :worship:

As always - you are my favorite DIS bride and I love it all!! :rotfl:

Oh my goodness - you're too sweet! :bitelip: <---(That's me being embarrassed)

Sure! And if you ever get out here to go to Disneyland, I have tons of tips! That is neat that you know the Roots. I thank my lucky stars every day that we found them. And how cool that you rented "Next Stop Wonderland"! I've been scared to recommend it to anyone since my BIL and SIL watched it on my recommendation and thought it was boring and turned it off halfway through  I guess there's no accounting for taste....

What beautiful pictures and beautiful wedding!! I loved reading your wedding report and trip report! :)

Oh good - glad you're enjoying them!

Carrie, they must have watched Wonderland or some other movie. It couldn't have been Next Stop, Wonderland. We know the truth!

More gorgeous photos! The Roots are fantastic! You were a stunning bride and you and your DH are so cute together.

Disney should pay you for being such a good advertisment for DFTW! Your wedding sold me on having a DFTW more than any of their literature did!

OMG! :yay: That totally makes me so excited for my own wedding. i am so glad you posted pictures. The pictures are certainly amazing.

I can't wait to see your wedding pictures - are you getting married on the bridge or down by the pond in front of the bridge?

That's hilarious! Unfortunately, Disney may no be too keen on my personal mission to sell people on CHEAP Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings! :rotfl:

Carrie, they must have watched Wonderland or some other movie.

OMG - wasn't that the one with Val Kilmer as a heroin addict or something? Yes, I think that's what happnened... :thumbsup2

I know I am so behind everyone else... but can I also get a copy of your BEO? I am trying to plan my budget and I think it could be really helpful. :) I also saw a photo on the roots website of a book that said our fairytale wedding. I was wondering what the book actually was and where you got it.

Sure! Just PM me your email address! Also, regarding the book, that was the box that our super-secret surprise DFTW gift came in. :thumbsup2

OK, just to drag this trippie out a little longer, here's what happened on our first day back in the real world!

We got in pretty late Saturday night, so we took Sunday to recover and catch up on everything we'd missed during the 2 weeks we were away. This meant sleeping til we woke up, doing 4 suitcases' worth of laundry, sorting through a HUGE stack of mail, and peeling the cat off us at every turn.

As a testament to the miracles wrought by Patricia LeJeune and Nathan & Jensey Root, here's Lurkyloo before and after....
