I got my letter last weekend and I was accepted in Attractions! One of my top choices! I'm really hoping to get to work at the Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror, Jungle Cruise, the Safari, or the Great Movie Ride. I know I will probably won't be put there though. Still, I am so happy to be able to go!

It's the YES(youth education series) program. Whenever organized student field trip groups go into the parks, YES facilitates educational tours that use the parks as a living classroom.

The department is pretty much run on interns. . .and none of us have heard anything. . .

thank you very much.... ive bee reading on here for about 4 weeks, but i didnt want to post until i got accepted. well im ccepted obviously

You can ask. But there are no guarantees. It can't hurt though.

One of my friends applied for the DL program and it's been two and half months since they said they'd let her know. I got my acceptance in 3 weeks, and one of our friends got in just last week even though he had his interview after her. Bad sign? :/

if anybody has ANY questions about costuming PM me! ive been here since may 19th 2008! i work on parades and shows at the magic kingdom! basically i get paid to jump up and down on and off parade floats! once joanna here on the boards saw me on the Spectro Mickey float!

Merchandise! What exactly does costuming do, like "a day in the life" style? I'm so confused because it doesn't say anything about that on the DCP website, only that they issue costumes and operate laundry machines and things like that. Minimal guest interaction too!

It is. But you can also be working with the characters. It depends on where you are placed.
