~ A PTR for a CAMPING Trip That Might Never Be ~ *TR Started (link inside)*

There are some people out there who love to drag out their trip reports - making them last a year or more in some instances. I'm not naming names or anything. :rolleyes1

A-hem!!

How long did it take me to finish my last TR - from the time I got home until I posted the last update??

.... I want guesses. Got it?? :thumbsup2 (I will give one hint - it didn't take me long. :rotfl: )

Show-off!! :snooty:

If I don't make it back in time I wanted to wish you a Magical and safe trip.

Can't wait to hear all about it.

Thanks Scott :goodvibes

I can't believe you are less than two days away!!! :woohoo:

31 hours from now - to be exact! :cool1:

well, it really depends. I'd say a dark purple is very versatile. But if it's a lighter pink, that's a second. Red may be classic, but for Disney it's quite over-powering. ;)

I agree with the purple and pink. I don't think red at Disney is overpowering! But, I'm not sure red goes very well with purple. I couldn't get Amy's suggestion about the red with black Mickey ears out of my head last night. Chuck said he'd do it for me. Hmmmmmm.

Show-off!! :snooty:

You leave tomorrow, you leave tomorrow!!!!

:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

I wanted to weigh in on the pedicure question...I'm probably too late, but here's my two-cents anyway. I say go RED and do the Mickey Heads! That's exactly what I was thinking before Amy posted it! It may not "go" with purple, but I don't think your toes necessarily need to match what you wear. Just my opinion!

I'm sure you'll have a busy day today...I'll be thinking of you and being jealous!! ;)

It's not too late. Don't you know me yet??? :rotfl: Okay - I think I'll be making a run to the exchange and picking up some black polish. I wonder if using a Q-tip would be the best way to apply the Mickey heads?? :confused3 I can't see it working too well with the regular brush.

I just checked in online! :cool1: And then I called Disney. Do you all remember I changed our original reservation and added the dining plan and the guy who did it said he had to cancel the old one and then redo it? And I wondered if he'd transferred all of the info including my room requests and that we were celebrating my birthday?? Well, I called back today to be sure and of course - those things hadn't transferred over. I want my special birthday surprise in my room!! :woohoo:

Now I'm off to shower and get crackin' at packin'. :thumbsup2

I think the nail polish brush will work best - especially if you have a nice full bottle. Just let a drop fall on your toe - the trick will be making the ears smaller than the face... I have a pedicure scheduled 2 days before we leave - I know it won't help you, but I'll have to have her give me some Mickey heads and I'll post about her technique!

I'm trying to look online for some ideas. I came across this link:

I think it's okay to have all three circles the same size - they look good in the picture!

:mickeyjum :mickeyjum :mickeyjum
:mickeyjum 1 DAY! :mickeyjum
:mickeyjum :mickeyjum :mickeyjum

Good morning! Sorry I missed your day 2 countdown yesterday, I'm sick. :( But I won't talk about that because YOU'RE HEADING TO DISNEY TOMORROW!!! :yay:

Ok, so to go back and catch up here...

I can't do the trivia thing on your last TR because I always go to the first post in this one when I come here and you have a big old hint (answer really) there. LOL For this one, I'll say a month. And I'm sure I'll be happy with however often you update. :thumbsup2

I vote RED polish! (Thanks for posting the link to that thread, too cute!!)

Thanks! I'm thinking it would be cool to do it at night and see all of the lights! :goodvibes I think if it's open, it may just end up being Sully and I who do it. Connor is afraid of heights and I'm not sure Owen would want to.

:dancer: Get PACKING GIRL!! :dancer:

I'm workin' on it! I ran some errands - bought snacks and breakfast items, got my five dollar bills for mousekeeping, and am doing laundry. :laundy: Most stuff is packed - just not everything.

I know! I can't wait! :goodvibes Especially right now when it's cold, wet, and dreary outside. I'm ready for some beautiful flowers!

Okay - so I went to the store here on base and they didn't have black polish. But, I did pick up some small foil designs. There are gold and silver circles so I could make a Mickey Head on each big toe. Do you think I should stick with red polish?? Which color circles?? :confused3 Help!!! I could try one of each and post pictures and you all help me choose. :rolleyes1

Hey,
Have a great trip.
I'm betting you will post a report, the day you get home.
You'll put everyone to bed and you will be wired up and make a post.

Sorry I haven't been around in awhile, but you'll see me more on the Trip Board.
I need a moderator so bad for the pre-trippers.

I'm going to Florida in 20 days,
My dh has a convention in Orlando and he asked me if I wanted to go along and could I amuse myself during the day,:rotfl:

I got a free ticket for Universal
and I'm pretty sure I am going to Epcot.
We are staying at the Ritz in Orlando,
I'm going to have to do some sneaking in/out,
I don't have no fancy, smacy clothes for a place like that.
Maybe 1 dress and that's it.

See you when you return, and give me a PM, to move this over.

P.S. The line for the balloon will be one person short, there is no way, I could do that.

Hey Marisa! No worries - I'm sure you're very busy around here. :goodvibes
I saw you were heading back! Very cool. And you get to see the F & G Festival too. :thumbsup2

I wouldn't fit in very well at the Ritz either. I'm not really a "cultured" girl. :rolleyes1

I'll PM when you I get back and am ready to close this PTR up and start the TR. :thumbsup2 Thanks for all of your hard work!

I think red is always a good color - I'd go with silver circles??? :confused3

Red and silver get my vote. A word of advice...once you have the circles on, paint over them with a coat of clear polish. I used similar "toe bling" last year and it tended to fall off without the clear coat. Can't wait to see pics of the pretty toes! :cutie:

That's my vote too (if that counts for anything :rotfl: ). I'm not a fan of gold.

That's what I was planning on. The directions suggest doing that. :thumbsup2 I've painted them red - just waiting for them to dry. :)

I vote silver also. You Mickey jewelry will match! Can't believe you will be there tomorrow. How exciting!
