Larisa & Nick 7/18/09 - invitation voted best of 2009!!

Larisa,
I wanted to let you know that your bridesmaids dresses and flowers are inspiration for my wedding color scheme.
Thanks for posting and Congratulations!:goodvibes
Thanks, the colors all came together great in photos so I'm sure it will be the same you, congratulations!!!

Hi Larissa
I just wanted to say that I thought your wedding was beautiful!!!
Would you be kind enough to tell me how long was the hair of the bridesmaid, on the left of the back row, at the time, I love her hair with the three roses and would like mine to be similar for my VR. My hair is about shoulder length at the moment but I am growing it!!! Is it okay if I borrow the picture for inspiration?
Also, did you order the custom stamp from somewhere? I am from UK so would love to know whether there is a website which does them.
I think you have fabulous taste!!!
Thank you so much
Joanne
Hi Joanne,
I believe her hair was just about shoulder length or maybe even a little shorter. She actually used a "bump it" to give a little height, and then it was tucked under. You can definitely borrow the photo I'm happy to help out in any way! I will see if there is another one of that particular bridesmaid I can post with another angle of the hair. Also, I did order the custom rubber stamp online from www.rubberstampchamp.com and I used gold embossing powder and a heat gun. Hope this helps!!!

This is gorgeous! I wish I had thought to put flowers in my BM's hair! It looks amazing!
Thanks!!!

Thank you
I would love to see any other photos of that bridesmaid's hair if you have them.
Thanks for the info about the rubberstamps. I will check it out!!
What is a 'bump it' please!! :confused3

I will check on finding another picture. A Bump It is sort of silly thingt hey sel on tv infomercials! They really do work though! They sell them in drugstores (I take it you aren't in the US?) but I also just googled and found them on line ... www.bumpits.com. Good luck!

You are right I am in the UK
Thanks, but unfortuately the 'Bump it' website will not ship internationally, or I would have ordered some as both my daughter and I have fine hair!!!:sad2:

Wow, its been a really long time since I've been on here. With the wedding well over a year ago, I guess I need to move on to a completed PJ thread!! (How do I do that??)

Anyway, I just wanted to thank everyone who read along the way, I know I didn't post as often as I had hoped because busy life gets in the way, but it really did mean so much to me throughout the planning process to have a place to come and share all of the details of our special day.

All of the brides who I met on here were some of the sweetest people ever and I'm thankful for the DIS to bring us all together!

As I re-read a lot of my posts, its so fun to reminisce about my wedding, and it makes me want to share even more!! I have a little blog where I'm going to go over everything from how we met, all of the planning, every detail of the wedding day, and a trip report for our engagement and honeymoon trip (which I never got to on here, is it too late??). So if you want to follow along, I just started yesterday, but it will be here ...

THANK YOU AGAIN TO EVERYONE HERE ON THE DIS!!!! :lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc

I just found your PJ. I love your invitations and Programs! the Programs you made would go great with my Vintage/sea theme! and the embossing on your invites is so clean! I did that for my Save the Dates, I know how tedious it can be! but like you said, So worth it!
Oddly enough my name is Larisa too!!

it's nice to see you back...

Thanks for the encouragement to get back on the boards!!

Another Larisa!!! There aren't too many of us out there, its nice to meet you! :goodvibes The embossing is definitely tedious, and only about half of them turn out the way you want, haha. Best of luck with everything, I will head over to your PJ to check it out!!

I just found your PJ and I think your wedding and HM turned out just perfect! My OH proposed to me in the MK almost 2 years ago and we are getting married at home in Ireland in May of next year. We are also having a Fairytale theme and at the moment we are looking at table names - can I just ask, how did you think up all the names for your tables? We have about 8/9 and we're stuck  We have ones like Enchanted Forest from Snow White and Cave of Wonders from Aladdin. Instead of favours we're going to have scrolls for each family or couple similar to your frames and on the scrolls there will be a little passage describing why we chose that name for the table and what it means to us. There will not be many Disney maniacs at our wedding besides some of our friends and close family so not everyone will "get" the Disney quirks. Any tips you can give me would be great!

I just found your PJ and, WOW, I just love everything about your wedding! It is all so beautiful and elegant. I know it has been a while now but Congratulations to you both :goodvibes

I stumbled across your PJ and few days ago and I have to say everything just looked amazing! I love your colours and both youself and your bridesmaids all looked gorgeous!! I also loved the candy bar and am in the process of trying to convince DF that we need one too!! I have to ask aswell...where did you get the stand for your guest book pages?! I have the same guest book and was totally unsure on how to display the pages but I love what you did and am now on a mission to find something similar!!
