We have been really busy this past few days, our FE gifts are done and we are now in the process of figuring out what to pack.

We also wanted to thank every one who put their hard work and time to make this cruise a special one.

Hope to meet you all.... or most of you since its a big group and there is very little time to do it.

I know...so exciting....got myself all packed last night. Tonight I will pack Mike...two more days of work and then Thursday we head down to Florida to go to Universal and HP and then the Preview Cruise...

So glad I am packed...that is a relief!!

Just popping on to say Thank you to everyone for all your efforts and hard work in organizing this cruise. I am usually so much more organized, but I guess I will have to learn that with every detail not planned to the minute, you can still have an amazing time!!!!! So excited...leave Saturday for AKV before the cruise....

Did anyone else hear some rumors about Whoopi G being on the cruise, possibly telecasting for the view??????

I did hear on the View the other day that Whoopi wasn't there because she was on a Disney cruise. I was thinking she was probably doing the Boys and Girls cruise....but who knows.

BTW, I met her many many years ago when she was filming Clara's Heart in Baltimore. She was not very 'personable'.

I am so jealous of all of you that have been able to get Palo ressies! I keep trying to snag one, but every time I look, there is nothing there! Oh, well i'm sure I can find SOMETHING else to eat, LOL! The menus I have seen look so good!

I can't believe that in 72 hours I will be getting ready to board the Dream on the Boys & Girls Club cruise...if anyone has any questions, let me know...i'll be posting pics on my FB when we get on while I have cell service and MIGHT buy a wireless package to use my iPod facebook...we'll see!! Can't wait!!

OK from this cruise we have three hard sided bags, a big duffle inside one, two roller bags , and two small personal computer bags.

We spent a month in europe with one duffle and a very small computer bag each, and we did the Magic repo to Dover and 1st Baltic.

Packing wet suits for the Aqua Duck takes up space- they don't fold very well! Alex

If anyone has more info on this I would appreciate it...I am sailing with two friends...none us would be happy sharing a bed( )...I seriously hope Disney has taken this into account.

UPDATE: ok - I just got off the phone with DCL...it is true, the beds DO NOT SPLIT. I am "lucky" enough to be in a "quad" room - we have the drop down bed as well as the queen and murphy bed....I am stunned DCL made this choice.

yes,I wondered ab out that too, except that I know there was a lot of complaining about the bump in the middle of the bed when you had the 2 pushed together, which we always did.

I will say the bedding and the linens are wonderful! you'll sleep like a baby. And the couch that turns into a bed is much more comfortable, too.

Has anyone seena ny navigators-or didn't they have them on the preview cruises? Curious if there any new activities. I hope so. Also I imagine they will be having a DVC get together. last time it was the first day and we missed it. I have to get my husband his hat!
I still am unsure of what kind of weather to pack for.

the preview cruises didn't have anything "special"....we were all castmembers and media and film people. Everybody was just so interested in touring the ship and seeing all the new places to sit, and eat, and party! I didn't even have time to tour the children's areas....hoping to do that on the MV.

I think I will just show up with a dress shirt and tie.

Yes, that's what my husband is planning.....but he doesn't want to wear the tie. I think he'd rather wear his sport coat with a tie-less shirt. We'll have to see which way he's going.

So, has anyone figured out how we can hang fish extenders? From the photos I've seen, I don't see fish or anything else that something could hang from. You'd think DCL would pay better attention to our needs! (kidding)

Seriously though, any thoughts? I've hung other things from our door before using magnetic hooks, so I'll bring a couple of those. But if I hadn't seen those photos, I wouldn't have thought to do that.

And will add them as I get them.

Linda in the past has put this info in the mini Navigator she Produces, they will be given out at many of the same place's as the lanyard's.
