The flatbread and gnocchi dish look great, as does the goat cheese ravioli (which I've had before) - now I'm really regretting the choices I made last time. :rotfl:

I posted before dessert was served...what was I thinking??? :lmao: So make sure you take a look at Ginamarie's dessert from California Grill. It's a good one! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the reminder post! I totally would've missed that otherwise, and it looks fantastic! Chocolate cupcake with chipotle? Valrhona mint chocolate cup? Marshmallow whoopie pies? A cake pop with chocolate and peanut butter (basically the No Way Jose in cake pop form)? Yes to all of the above! :thumbsup2

I really need to eat at Cali Grill again. The menu is looking so good - I know it would be wonderful. :goodvibes

The french toast from CRT sounds good, but sounds increadibly rich!

We have Christmas Eve morning bkfst there and I constantly flip-flop what I am thinking I want. Good thing I still have some time ;)

Christmas Eve morning at the castle...very nice! :)

Our dates are 10/17-10/26, Boardwalk Villas!

Gotcha! Thanks, TigerKat! :thumbsup2

YUM! Great live updates!

Thanks, basketlacey! I give all the credit to our current live reporter, Ginamarie. She's doing a great job! ::yes::

Hmmm...that's an interesting statement. ;)

Ooohhh California Grill, you look so amazing! I am truly sad CG will be closed for refurb during our May trip, I was so looking forward to dining there and seeing Wishes with my new hubby!! Next time!
After reading the live updates and another DR, also found thru here :goodvibes, I've decided we have to eat in the Castle! I was flip flopping (lol) between Asherkus, 1900 PF and CRT since DD is only 2 but, the experience of the Castle just too wonderful to pass up!!
Thank you so much for these awesome live updates :goodvibes

Just a reminder that we have two Disney Dining Reporters arriving at Disney World tomorrow!!! :cool1::cool1:

sushicandy - Rosey and her DH will be enjoying their belated Honeymoon at WDW and staying at POFQ from 9/21 - 9/28. Here's Rosey's PDR
If you haven't already seen Rosey's gorgeous food pictures, you must check out her PDR! :thumbsup2

And then we have another member of our "Live Reporting" Team... :cheer2:

Alice BlueBonnet - Alice and Snow will be there from 9/21 - 9/29 and staying at the AS Music Resort! She will be doing live updates for us! Here is her PDR.

:wave2: We will be there from 27th October until 3rd November - not sure how successfully I will be able to post from my android phone using wifi as we have no USA sim but if the wifi is good at the BC or EPCOT I'll be posting my live pics here.

We have ADRs for breakfast at Captains Grille, Kouzzinas, Crystal Palace, akershus and Cape May Cafe. Dinner reservations at Yachtsman, Le Cellier and WCC. Hopefully eating lots of dinners at F&W.

I'll give it a go while there - thanks for co-ordinating this awesome thread. :thumbsup2

Love the live updates! Can't wait to start sending them myself in a few weeks!

Thanks auntfrannie! Looking forward to receiving your live updates soon! :thumbsup2

I feel your pain regarding CA Grill. It will more than likely be closed during my next trip too and it's currently my favorite Disney restaurant.

That would be great, chocolateMinnie! We currently don't have anyone "live" reporting from 10/29 - 10/31, so if you could manage a few updates then those dates would be covered. If there is anything I can do to help, just let me know. I can easily work with emailed pics, if you'd rather not have to deal with uploading your photos to Photobucket (or whatever hosting site you might use) while you are on vacation. :thumbsup2

Oh, and I'll get your dates added to my list! ;)

Emailing my pics would probably be much easier - if you are happy to work with my emailed photos that would make life uch easier. Now fingers crossed for great wifi

Ginamarie & family had lunch today at Epcot's...

Canadian Chocolate Mousse ("Moose")

The filet looks really, really good. As you know, I'm not a huge steak person, but the truffle butter and mushroom risotto have such a great flavor. Now I miss Le Cellier as well.

The accompaniments are what make that dish superb! I'll have to dream about it again now until we can go back again. (next year?)

And for dinner tonight, Ginamarie & family dined at Epcot's...

Tutto Italia

Polenta Valsugana -Traditional Northern Italian creamy polenta and melted fontina
Served with braised short ribs, meatballs, sweet and piccanti pork sausages

Ginamarie said, "They serve the meat and polenta separately and then you mix it together in your own plate.
The polenta was perfect and creamy and the meat was the best accompaniment with their sweet and fresh tomato sauce."

And for dessert...

Torta Di Nocciole "Cortemilia"
Hazelnut polenta cake, nutella, and sweet cream cheese

Ginamarie said, "This was really unusual. The cake is kind of dry, but good! You can definitely get the hazelnut and nutella taste and the nutella creamy top added a light texture to even it out. Even the chocolate swirl on top had a hazelnut flavor."
