Mother, Daughter and Sausage Dining Review! Final Meal - Complete 9/27!!

I love henna! We saw the shop in Morocco last year, but it was not open, but this year, I'm determined to get a tattoo! So glad Eilee could get her tattoo fixed! Love the photo bomb! :lmao:

You are too funny! I don't think I have ever seen the henna tattoos either. And we also wondered about that rabbit!

Love, love the zeppoles! We may go back in November just to have them!

Great Via Napoli review!

You're such a great mom to switch shoes with your daughter. I'm not sure that I would be able to trade my comfy shoes for blister-causing shoes.

Thanks for the review, I excited to try some of that great looking pizza. Good to know about splitting it.

Not only was that a wonderful Via Napoli review, but it was also hilarious! The henna tattoo incident (I'm glad it had a happy ending), the switching of the shoes, the random bunny in a suit, the photobomb, and the "Ehrmergerd!" for the zeppole - all these little things had me cracking up. :rotfl2:

The pizza there is wonderful. The pistachio gelato sounds fantastic (and that's a huge stamp of approval if it compared favorably to the real thing from Italy). Finally, the zeppole...I've never tried them at Via (partly because there are so many pizza joints at home where I can get them), but you know what? I never actually buy the ones at home, since they're too sugary and greasy for me! :rotfl: Those look excellent, and now I'm missing VN more than ever. :thumbsup2

Sure it's funny NOW! :rotfl2: I forgot to mention the fact that I had faint brown blobs on my hand and arm for a few days afterwards too!

Eilee said that the gelato was better than Italy but I did not get one bite of it so I cannot confirm this! But it looked pretty good! My sister and I had zeppole from a cart in New York one time and they were a lot heavier than these ones at VN. I'd suggest that you give them a try here!

You ordered everything I wanted to eat at Via Napoli. I am glad it did not disappoint! I am so happy Eilee was able to get her henna tattoo fixed.

Oh good! I'm glad we got to give you a preview and also confirm that you're making the right choice! I'm so glad she was able to get her tattoo fixed too. It would have been a nightmare for her to start 8th grade a few days later with a brown blob on her wrist!

Her tattoo looked really cute - it had a slight "shadow" because it was done twice but I'm so happy we found the woman and she was able to fix it! She nearly broke down in tears when we went back and the woman was gone! I might have to get one next time too. :scratchin

Oh my gosh, I dream about the zeppole. Please go back and have some for me and send me a photo of you and Andrew eating them! ;)

I wasn't happy with the red jelly shoes, let me tell you! Not only were they too small for my feet but they looked hideous with my outfit! :rotfl2:

Thanks for the review, I excited to try some of that great looking pizza. Good to know about splitting it.

It was definitely big enough for us to split. And I was also happy about that because I wanted room for dessert and I had enough room to finish all of the zeppole!

Do they serve bread at VN before the meal?

They did not serve any bread before the meal. I wonder if you'd get bread if you ordered pasta? I think that if you're going to split a pizza, you might even have room for an appetizer!:thumbsup2

Loved your CRT review! It really is such a fun experience to eat there.

Thank you for the picture of the Avengers monorail! I was really looking forward to seeing it on my trip in May and I kept telling DH about it, but we never saw it. On the last morning of our trip I saw it as it was about to pass by Poly as we were standing in the parking lot of the hotel and I was screaming at DH to look quick, but he was looking at fantasy baseball and ignoring me completly, so he never did see it. I don't think he believed that there really was an Avengers monorail, but now I can show him photographic evidence that I am not crazy. Well... not crazy in this instance anyway. :rotfl2:

Yum! Beignets! The only thing better than something fried is something that is fried and covered in powdered sugar. :thumbsup2

Eilee's minor henna disaster made me laugh because it reminded me so much of what happened to my own henna tattoo that I got when I was in Morocco. I had gotten one that went up my entire left forearm and was completely thrilled with it, until I went into the stall of a "voodoo" specialist and he suddenly rubbed some soap on my arm and completely scuffed the tattoo up! I was beside myself with grief. A kind lady tried to fix it but unfortunately that area still faded away ten times faster then the rest :worried:. Anyway, complete threadjack but it was a nice trip down memory lane for me!

I seriously wish we had room for Via Napoli on our upcoming trip. Pizza is one of the few instances when I will eat red sauce!

Thanks for letting me know! With pizza I don't need the extra carbs anyway. The calamari sounds good to me on their menu.

Oh my, I think we have tons of photos of the other side of the Avengers monorail as well with all of the characters. When we were able to actually ride on it Eilee made me take so many photos of it that we almost missed getting on!

Oh no! Another henna mishap! After it was fixed I made her walk on the opposite side of me for the rest of the evening! And I wouldn't let her go to bed until it was completely dried. LOL! I think I'm going to get one next time. I work in a place where we can't have any visible tattoos so it'll have to be a hidden tattoo!

Yes, I suppose one wouldn't need bread if you're already getting pizza...but I certainly wouldn't have turned it down if it was offered! :rotfl: As a matter of fact I've been known to get some breadsticks or cheesy bread when I order pizza around here! haha!

This is not dining related at all but I thought I'd share some photos that I took of my DD at WDW. This is what a 13 year old does while on vacation. emmysmommy, 25eels and chocolateminnie have already seen my facebook album but I thought I would share with you all because I thought these were funny!

Ok, this last one is just a joke and is the only one that is staged! After a few days I'd realized how much texting Eilee was doing so I started taking photos of her. I thought that last one would be a funny ending to the texting photos so emmysmommy was kind enough to come over to our table during our CRT breakfast to take that for me! Thanks Brenda! And Eilee thanks Disney for putting wifi in MK and Epcot and resorts.

I made a photo collage for her to show her how addicted she is to her texting! Thank goodness her phone won't work in the Mediterranean so she might actually notice things like the Colosseum or the leaning tower of Pisa!!

I have to add one more thing!! I had no future trip to WDW in my sights at all and I was bummed. However I've decided to run the Tower of Terror 10 Miler next year!! It's coming up on September 29th so that gives me one whole year to plan and actually get up to running 10 miles!! Yikes!! But I'm very excited about this!

I LOVE THIS!!! I could have easily done a "texting" collage from my last trip had I have thought about it. BRILLIANT IDEA, TRACY!!! :thumbsup2

Oh, and I had two daughters with me doing this. For all I know, they were texting each other saying how lame their mother was for making them get up so early! :lmao:

Too funny! I have a 13 year old ( just turned).. She is not there yet with texting but I am expecting the excessive texting anyday now :)!

And you had TWO girls! LOL!! I can't imagine. Are boys as bad with texting as girls are? I secretly laughed to myself every time I took a photo. Eventually I made her put it away at least at meals!

Get ready, it's coming! :rotfl2:

Another super funny update. :rotfl: And good for you about the ToT 10-miler! Another Disney trip on the horizon (plus a year's worth of motivation to be healthy) is a win-win situation. :thumbsup2

I have something to show you, Tracy...

And the worst part is, this picture was not taken at Disney World. No, my daughters were sitting on the curb in front of the Spanish Steps in Rome! :scared1: :crazy2: :(

Be careful with the Tower of Terror run, Run Disney events are very addicting!

I hope so!! If I can pull off this 10 miler I might have to aim for a 1/2 marathon!!

I thought these were so funny - I wish I would have thought of it days earlier to and would have gotten some texting photos in AK & DHS!

I'm so excited about the ToT run. I'm doing my first 5K next weekend. I just need to keep motivated over the winter and make sure I keep running! I hate the treadmill so hopefully I can find an indoor track. And I've already got a list going for what will be a fairly short trip to WDW next year to run! Jiko is at the top!

:rotfl2: haha! You understand! What an awesome photo! It's been a few years since I've been to Europe so I'm guessing that her cell phone really might work there? Maybe I won't tell her that! She's already told me that I "must" buy the wifi package on the cruise! We'll see about that!
