Awesome information! I just spent 20 minutes searching the web for something like this. Should have known to come straight to the boards! Thanks so much!

Where are you getting this from? I was just making reservations and noticed that Disney is listing its character meals as being $30 to $60 which is ridiculous, and I'm hoping wrong. I thought they use to all be about what you listed, $10 - $20 for kids, $25 - $40 for adults depending on meal and location. It makes me nervous to see $59.99 out beside a restaurant like Crystal Palace.

Rusty & Mrs Rusty work for WDW so you can trust the pricing guidelines he give us!

Awesome thanks!

I about had a heart attack when I saw that $60 price tag. You'd think Disney could get the pricing right for its own restaurants on its own website. I guess the computer is just spitting out the same default price range for all its restaurant labeled with a certain number of dollar signs.

honest to goodness...these are some really insane prices. I kind of understand the ones with character interaction (kind of)....but $42 for a turkey dinner? I could have a nice steak for that at LCC.....

We have breakfast reservations at CP and TH, and dinner at Ohana, CMC....
I agree with you. Totally insane. Maybe we should plan on a trip to Trail's End next trip. I remember them having excellent fried chicken.

The highest prices are for peak summer and peak spring & sometimes Christmas prices.. It is crazy! When are you going? 1900 PF breakfast we found to be really some best buffet character breakfast food & pricing! The lobster eggs Benedict is amazing!!

1) Not really.
2) Everyone knows that growing food is more costly in Disney World crowded weeks.
3) At least, that is what Disney tells us.

:cool1:

Yes. That is exactly what it's doing. The price ranges are not restaurant specific (never have been, at least since 2009 when I started looking), but rather price ranges that the restaurant falls into.

We are going the 19 - the 26 of Sept. As far as characters meals, Ive currently got ADR for Tusker House lunch and Crystal Palace breakfast. However, I really need CP on a different day. Hopefully, someone will cancel. I also still need Garden Grill for dinner. I've been trying for it since 160 days (which is when we decided to go to Disney) and no luck so far. I had all my reservations but that and the dessert party done, and then an extra person joined our trip this week, so now Im trying to move things around and reschedule everything. It's not going so well. This is what happens when you travel with friends who don't understand the importance of planning it all before the 180 day mark or the magic of hopper passes.

Based off my bill for CRT, it looks like those prices are including tax AND tip.

Can anyone else verify that?

When you reserve CRT, you have to pay in advance and it does include tax & tip. The original post shows that they are included for CRT. The others excl tip.

I'm trying to figure out what AYCTE stands for.

Thank you, sharonabe for bumping this thread.

Is there anywhere to find prices for later in 2014? If we are able to book DDP already, surely the buffet prices have to be floating around somewhere, right?

Thanks!

I'm glad 1900 Park Fare isn't going up until after our October trip, because I was already struggling with paying $23 for breakfast!

(We got DDP free last trip, and my MIL paid for the vacation our first trip. This is the first time I've really had to come face-to-face with Disney food prices.)

I doubt it. The Jan 6, 2014 prices that Rusty lists should be the non-peak pricing for buffets for all of 2014, but Disney can always up the price at any time. If you're going during summer, Easter, Thanksgiving, or Christmas, you'll need to use the peak pricing. While not exact, I would use the price difference between April 2013 and June 2013 and apply that difference to the January 2014 price to get a pretty good estimate of peak pricing for 2014.

Am u reading this right...$38.00 for breakfast at chef Mickeys for my September trip??? Please tell me this is wrong
