Congratulations!! You're giving me hope! My contract was submitted for ROFR on Dec 1st but due to issues was given an ROFR effective date of Dec 21. Maybe tomorrow will be my day!

Good luck!! I'm very surprised and now experiencing twangs of buyersremorse (lol)... If we bought last year or the year before it could have been $70 or even $65. Can't time the market !!!

So my SSR contract passed! I was very surprised by this, but am happy to have the points!

$75-$12,510-150-SSR-Mar 35/14 (banked from 13), 300/15 (150 banked from 14), 150/16

My brother just negotiated $65/pt, June UY, 0 2014, all 2015 and beyond. Buyer pays maint fees, closing and $195 fidelity fee.

He's thinking about backing out now!!! Bc the price was so much lower in 2012/2013!!

Prices have shot up across the board, direct and indirect. SSR getting ROFR even at high seventies. 2012-13 prices will be very high risk to get ROFRed.

Updating timeline:

Finally got closing docs today (Jan 14).....7 weeks on paperwork....really?!

I think the banking deadline for the June 2014 points is Jan 31st, right? Assuming I get the docs and closing check FedEx'ed back to the escrow company in CA, tomorrow...I'm thinking that I won't have a member account to bank points until the end of February. How strict are the folks at Member Services about not letting you bank your points for the first year when closings take a long time?

I think your points are at risk. Call member services and discuss with them!! They also might make a one time exception for you, if you beg n plead!!

Prices are up everywhere and are only getting higher! You got a great deal for "today", I wouldn't be remorseful at all. In fact, if I get mine, I'll be a dancing fool!

Our first contract hopefully.....

We were notified today 1/15/15 that we passed ROFR.... We were notified back on 1/6 that there was an error with our seller's information regarding 2014 points. He listed it saying there were 96 points from 2014 and all for 2015 with March use year. Upon Disney's review, they made us sign an addendum to the contract that we actually got all 200 of 2014 points. Seller paid all of 2014 dues and buyer paid all of 2015 dues and closing costs. I can't believe it passed ROFR.... Now to wait out the closing and start planning our next trip.......

That's 32/33 days. Lol. I'm dreaming of the day I can be at Disney for a month!!
