Pictures of things No Longer Seen at WDW

Do you remember the Kodak film counter in the Main St shops on the right as you enter? I will never forget it because I accidentally left my wallet on the counter there after buying a few rolls of 100 speed film. It would have seemed odd to take a picture of all of the film for sale, but that would be a nice nostalgic photo for this thread.

I even remember when it was the GAF Camera Center!

Finally found a few pix. These are from 1981. I only know because I still have the 10th anniversary coin I bought with my allowance.

This thread has brought back so many memories of visiting as a child! I remember the tickets that hung from your belt loops and got stamped and the song, "If You Had Wings." When we visited again after Epcot had been built, we booked to eat at the Living Seas restaurant later that day using the TV screens and I remember the man showing us iconic pictures of London and seeing if we recognised them! My mum has all the photos of that time but will see if I can get hold of them - but I know I have some of more recent trips. Thanks for all the memories!

Oh - a very quick one - who remembers the Magic Journeys film at Journey Into Imagination? I had never seen anything like it before and we watched it again and again - along with playing with the pin pads!

Here are a few shots taken on our first trip as a family, in 2007. I was so surprised to look back and see so many differences - these are just some of the ones I noticed straightaway.

On our first trip in the late 90's they had the magic show inside the Diamond Horseshoe Saloon. We stopped there for lunch, and DS was chosen as the assistant :) I have pictures of that and I don't think it was there on our last trip in 2012.

I may have led a congo line (or 2) up and down PI at "midnight"...and Fireworks had CM "backdoor" entrance (not sure it was more than a bar when I was there?) and the 21 Rum salute. But the Cage was there too. WHY did they ax Adventurers Club????

How many years did they do this daily NYE countdown at Pleasure Island,I mean it was different and something cool to look back on but that just had to get a bit old after awhile.
