We are embarking on our 1st official Road Trip and DH 1st official trip to Vegas!

More to come the planning has officially begun:)

So our hotel reservations are secured:

We are driving from Iowa to Denver July 14th and staying at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Cherry Creek:

Then we head to one of my favorites places in all the U.S.:

Glenwood Springs Colorado

We will stay here 1 night, or hope is to get here early and ride the tram, swim in the hot springs and eat at my favorite Mexican restaurant. The next morning we drive to Utah via Grand Junction to drop off the step children DD#2 & DS#4.

We will arrive at another of my favorite places St. George Utah:

With its AMAZING pool:

We stay here for 2 nights and then head off to Las Vegas

At some point on this trip we will hit Arizona but this will be our home for 4 glorious nights.

July 24th the plan as of now is to head home, driving straight to Denver.

Then we will finish the drive to Iowa on July 25th.

I say right now because DH could possibly take the 26th and/? 27th off changing up our plans a little. We will see how scheduling looks closer to our arrival!

Where in Vegas are you staying? I didn't see a hotel sign.

It's the Courtyard Las Vegas South, I love it because it's just off the strip by Mandalay Bay and it has free shuttles. A little less of the hustle and bustle when you want to relax:)

Must do dining:

Earl of Sandwich Planet Hollywood
Margaritaville
Cabo Wabo Catina
Dicks Last Resort
El Pollo Loco ***
In n Out Burger ***

***The Cali girl in me has to eat at some of my favorites growing up I don't get anymore!

Food will play a huge factor, my DH is a foodie! I'm excited to see the terrain and have some company. I normally do the drive solo every summer to take back DH's 2 children.

I had my first In n Out Burger when we were in Phoenix.

Oh it was my favorite growing up! All 103 lbs of me at the time lived for a Double Double:)

ROAD TRIP! Plans are sounding great!

I'm super excited we get to leave a day early and have an entire day in Glenwoid Springs. Especially the hot springs!!!
