Free Dining Fall 2015? (and a whole lot more)

I will be! And probably several others.

May very well (be trying to book tonight at midnight)... wasn't really planning on Disney this year, but maybe. Now we're suddenly leaning toward it.

I'm one of the ones that found it available at midnight a couple of years back, so worth a look again :-)

It makes no sense to me why SA would get to book before NA general public. So this does have me nervous that it will go straight to GP. Anyone know what this TA was saying last year at this time? Did they have the GP release date correct?
My guess on this is Disney would want to expand it's brand in SA and allowing them to book earlier might help. Compared that to the UK offer which is already out for 2016, giving a few days advance on the GP is not much.

I don't know if this was posted but I saw that the addition of a Hopper Pass OR the Water Parks and More pass may be required... I think I'd rather do the water parks...

So I am not sure if anyone here knows an answer, but we were told by Disney that since we have more under 18 year olds than we have over 18 we would be guaranteed two rooms with a door between and they booked them both with the same reservation number. Now if I were to book two rooms online with free dining would they still guarantee a door between even though they would be two reservation numbers?

finally caught up...

I do not have a modify button:
- Booked directly with Disney - room/tickets/memory maker
- no park hopper / dining / water parks
- Not paid in full - Just the deposit at this point
- Canadian .. reason for not paying in full, waiting for the exchange rate to get better ( fingers crossed)

I have logged out.. back in .. used the Disney app on my phone... nothing :-(

I can not call tomorrow until later in the morning...

I don't have the modify option either. Just make a payment.

Update!!!

I was using google chrome as my browser .. tried it in IE ....BAM modify is there :-)

I can't add on extra days, which was my plan when adding free dining... BUT if i can add free dining I will be happy!!

We have a similar set up. We always have adjoining rooms, we have more children then adults. But not sure who told you it is "guaranteed". for us we have always been told its not guaranteed but they will do their absolute best to make it work, and we always did end up getting the adjoining rooms so it was nice. So basically I think if you book two new rooms with FD I think you have the same chance as getting the adjoining room as you do right now. Rooms aren't assigned to you this far out. Im sure you will get it so id say go for it, it won't change your chances really anymore then they are now, and you could still call Disney to add a "travel with" number between the to. That's what we do and our rooms usually adjoin and all end up near eachother for the rest. :)

I tried this with no luck, still no modify or cancel

I get the little swirl under the res # like it's attempting to load something but nothin...

also just noticed in IE i can view "seasonal rates"
It brings up a calendar with what each night costs.... never saw that before!

I got frustrated reading everyone with it that I went to bed...
Then I was thinking and decided to use the browser on my phone... and it was there.
Then I went back to my laptop and tried IE... could be a timing thing but chrome is still not showing

Hope it shows for you soon!

Back to the discussion of Southwest airlines. As mentioned, some dates are sold out or selling quickly. DH and I just booked the return flight with Delta. It isn't a nonstop, but the price is cheaper than the remaining one stop offerings at Southwest and a time we prefer. The seats are already selected, so no worries about the 24 hour mark. The best part is DH used points for the flight, so his is free. I'll continue to watch Southwest for the flight down. I'm hoping I can use my points to get my ticket free. Arriving a day earlier than planned, is now an option.

Okay, so I'm crunching numbers for the free dining. We have annual passes so won't use the tickets, but will save them for a future visit. Since it's just prepaying a little for later, would you take that amount out when figuring how much the room discount vs. free dining would cost? I'm trying to decide which is smarter. Paying rack rate would "cost" about $450 more so that's good for our meals. However when you add on the park hooper and tickets at $540, it's not a good deal. But I'm not losing that $540, it'll be used towards renewal. Clear as mud?!

I get what you are saying. Me personally, since I'm using the hopper and tickets later I wouldn't count that money towards this trip. In my mind, it's really for a future trip anyways
