Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

This has been the refillable mug policy since the rapid refill system was introduced.

OK. Right. You pay for a number of days or if you are on the dining plan you get it for the length of stay, right? Like I said, I don't pay much attention since I don't typically get the mug.

Actually the removed the option for x number of days. Now you have one option for everyone, Length of Stay, whether you pay for it or get it with the Dining Plan. And Length of Stay defaults to 14 days.

Thanks!

I have some really outdated info about the refill mugs on Page 1. I'll have to get my story straight and get the current info there on the FAQ post.

In "Lily Goes Live" news, I have updated the trip report thread with pictures from Monday: Checkin at Wilderness Lodge, Hollywood Studios (which was super crowded) and Jeanne's fantastic pictures of the Osborne Lights.

With the update about the BCV rehab, do you think that the Yacht Club renovations are still happening over the next few months?

Will the pool be under construction during the last week of February? That is when we are visiting.

I haven't seen dates for the winter renovation other than what was posted yesterday. The normal work on Stormalong Bay (which is done in thirds) each year has typically been completed in early February.

I have more information about the past renovations in Post 2 (Stormalong Bay) of this thread.

Thanks for the help so far! We are traveling May 29-June 4 (ugh- I know, Memorial Day week- nephew's 5th birthday so no choice). I am wondering if this is a typically busy time at Yacht Club? Rooms are hard to come by at the moment. We do like to stay Club Level- will more rooms become available or once they are booked they typically stay booked? Also, I have a Deluxe room at the moment- which is nice though the current discount doesn't do much for the price at the moment. We were thinking of booking a Lagoon View Club Level. Thanks!

Have you thought of Beach Club/Club level, Lagoon View and looked at Orbitz? They show availability and you can apply the "Celebrate" promo code for extra $150 discount.

Is it worth the $246 to stay in a BC Studio vs. YC standard garden view?
I think that the YC garden view room is a much nicer room then the BCV studio. You get two queen beds in the YC room. And some of the YC rooms will have a daybed. The studios have one queen and a sofa bed.

We've booked a 1 Bedroom CL suite at BC for Oct 1-13. I'm wondering if I want to change this to a regular CL room. We love having the two rooms, my sons tend to sleep better when we are not all in the same room. However, what I love about CL is being able to walk down the hallway to the lounge and there is not a 1 Bdrm suite on the CL floor. Has anyone stayed in a 1 Bdrm suite at BC? Is the extra space worth the hallway walks and elevator rides? Would love your thoughts and opinions on this.

I just booked a 1 bedroom villa for Nov. 4 - 8. We were there years ago and finally making it back. Can't wait to be back.

I know construction hasn't even started, but do you think it will still be going on in November?
