for you to arrive in Vegas ? perfect for me it would be between 11am -1 pm. That way with the 3 hour difference im leaving at about 10 am from home, but it always seems like I arrive in Vegas like 8;30 a/m :crazy2:

We are about a 8 to 9 hour drive away. But I do like to arrive as soon as I can.

but the trick is, that you could go straight to your room, not having to wait long, but not to late where all the good rooms are taken

I arrived at my hotel at 3pm last month, they checked me with minimal delays. I went by the lobby at 4pm (official check-in time). The line was 10 times longer than when I checked in.

Here's another thought.... are you planning dinner at a popular buffet (eg.... Caesars' Bacchanal)? Consider an early dinner like 4:15pm to avoid the seriously long lines later in the evening.

Arriving by plane? There's savings travelling at certain times of the day.

Perfect time for me is after 3PM. I don't like getting in too much before my room is ready.
A couple of times we've arrived after 9PM. Check in is fast and by the time we hit the Strip
things are hoppin'. So maybe the perfect time for me is after 9PM...

I got there after 9 p/m once, check in was easy but bad room, plus at about 10 p/m its time for "room fun" before I watch a late night talk show, (they always seem funnier in vegas)
