At MK now.....half of Main Street stores are closed

Does anybody know why? All of the stores are closed from Goofy Candy to the ice cream place. Dozens of CMs are standing in front like a human fence, both workers and supervisors with walkie talkies. Many different costumes and it looks like they pulled everyone they could to stand in the line. All are smiling but not letting anyone thru.

I asked why and a super chipper supervisor said, "so you can enjoy Main Street more"

Wow sounds like maybe something happened in 1 of the stores...maybe there was a medical emergency or something?

Interesting. Perhaps a water main break or something. Would be weird to block every single store if it was medical since they don't all connect and could just block whatever half had the medical issue.

I've never seen them close up shops for a VIP. They would just have the plaids go get the items for them or just have the plaids surround them not shut an entire side of Main Street down.

Could be Beyoncé is shopping and wanted privacy but more likely it's just Burt Reynolds.

I could not see in the stores and they may be open by now. We were leaving the park but it definitely did happen. They had the Barbershop quartet out on the other side.

When we are talking wall, do we literally mean a can't see the building shoulder to shoulder tony's to plaza wall?

Just had a thought, I have seen a wall of CM set up when they found an unattended backpack at HS last year. The CM surrounded the area where it was, leaving a wide circle around it. I assume till it was examined but as they wouldn't allow anyone to stop in the area we just headed on to our ride and I never bothered to figure out what happened. It was in the shade near a bench right by Echo Lake so I assume someone just forget it when they got up
