That's exactly the way I feel!Target is now useless.

I still shop Target to get their free gift cards for items I was already going to buy. Then when I have $50 worth, I cash them in for a Disney card. I am also in a test market for getting perks on Cartwheel, and I have "earned" 2 free toys since November. But the Target we used to know is gone.Target is now useless.
You can't fault Target; it was great while it lasted. They will continue to be my go-to store for much of my shopping.
I wonder if they'll allow online purchases of gift cards with gift cards again, now that the loophole is closed.A few blogs online are confirming the Target "double dipping" is dead. Boo!
I highly doubt they will but you never know. Even if they did, the best we would get is maybe 5-10% off from buying target gift cards from raise or wherever now that we can't earn ebay bucks on gift cards. I personally don't think it would be worth the trouble for such a small percentage savings.I wonder if they'll allow online purchases of gift cards with gift cards again, now that the loophole is closed.
That's good to know, thanks! The only bummer is that the SaveMart near me doesn't allow you to buy a gift card with a credit card, otherwise I'd get another 6% back from AMEX. Oh well, still not too bad.If you have a save mart!
ends tomorrow!
I still shop Target, but I avoid shopping at ebay now! Between the Paypal witch hunts and the reduced ebucks, there really is no reason for me to use them regularly. I won't rule them out totally, because there will probably be something I need that I can only buy there, but I will no longer search there unless I have to.That is understandable. You have to do whatever works better for your family. I find the deals at cvs (with extra care bucks) are just as good if not better. I guess I have a spiteful streak but I have no desire to give target my business for everyday household items. I know my $75/$100 a week isn't going to hurt their bottom line but I have to believe I'm not the only one who doesn't shop there anymore since all the changes.
I was able to get 3 $100 disney cards yesterday in store. So can you still buy a Disney GC in store with a Target GC?
Yes. Just don't ask the cashier any questions! So can you still buy a Disney GC in store with a Target GC?
Yup. I totally agree about ebay. 1% in ebay bucks is ridiculous. I have some buy it now items in my watch list, if/when they have a 10% bonus I'll buy them. I did purchase a few items a few days ago when they had a flash sale of spend $75 get $15 off. Other than that I haven't made a purchase since January 1stI still shop Target, but I avoid shopping at ebay now!
