Got my last reservation sorted out! Garden Grill had no availability for 2 people for PPO breakfast but had it for 4. I was able to book a table for 4 and modify it later to just 2 people. If you're having problems booking a reservation for a small party, do try this trick. You're not taking someone else's place because you'll modify it as soon as you make it.

The website and the app both have been failing lately. They were both down for me last Wednesday when my 180 window opened up, ended up having to call as soon as the lines opened up. I managed to get everything we wanted even though the wait time was 1.5hrs

I've been watching the MDE app for a couple of months trying to get a feel for the process and how it works. I also noticed that the reservation day opens up on the calendar view at midnight, but it won't let you book any reservations until 6am. I was up at 5:30 this morning prepping everything for my 12/10 lunch and dinner reservations then refreshing constantly once the clock got to 5:58.

This will be my first trip to MK and EP in 10 years, first time ever to HS and AK, and the first trip I'm planning as an adult all by myself (mom did everything last time I was there in 2007). I never knew it would be so intense, but also kind of fun? It's just me and my best friend for a whole week, December 10-16th, to celebrate her birthday (which is the 18th).

Only thing I'd do different in the future so far is stay at one of the resort hotels so I could have booked all my ADRs at once. Getting up at 5:30 all this week is going to be rough. Worth it! Just rough. Good thing my best friend is awesome.

I'm worried about it too. And I keep reading this site about when people are checking in and most are on the 9th. Hopefully it's just DIS people and not the whole world

That does seem high & I have to question how she would know since a lot of the CMs in the phone lines don't seem to know if something like a dessert party is either sold out or not available for booking yet.

I plan on going to MVMCP on December 5, I wasn't planning on getting my tickets until I arrive on December 3rd, what are your options on this?
Is there a website to check what dates have sold out in the past, don't won't to miss out but was hoping to check the weather conditions first.

No website that tells you what is selling out or sold out, you just won't be able to buy them online for that day if there are non available. I would normally tell you that on the 5th you should have NO problem buying tickets the day of the party but for some reason this is getting to be a VERY busy time of year with many resorts showing almost full, difficult to get ADRs that should be very easy and so on and so on...so this may be something that is just going to surprise us all.

Got every one of my wish list, including BOG 8AM twice, but Garden Grill. There were no times from 8am onwards for the 16th. I wonder if this is a reflection of them withholding times for the Processional Package?

I have Garden Grill on the 14th for dinner as well as on the 18th for dinner, not sure if that means anything? It wasn't one that we really wanted for both days but so many others were booked up that we just accepted it since the kids absolutely love it.

My husband is 100% in the same line of thinking, we NEVER believe the crowd calendars because they are NOT accurate in our opinion, last year one day we were in the parks was listed as a 4 or a 5 and felt like a 9 easily...to the point that we said we were not going back this year, alas a hurricane blew in and we had to reschedule many aspects of our vacation to this year and adjust our plans.

At the moment my husband is considering cancelling our 10 day, club level trip at WDW and booking a cruise on the Fantasy concierge and then just boarding on our Dream concierge trip and making it all cruises and then doing the beach as planned, checking in to the WL for our Christmas week stay since it is mainly a resort stay and then doing Universal for the other part. I am trying to convince him to just give it a shot and we could be surprised but I am not afraid too! LOL

I wouldn't be TOO worried. There's slow times in September that are hard to get reservations during as well because of free dining. It clogs up the reservations tons, but not much more than normal in the park.

I am right there with you. I too have to book day by day since I am staying off sight. I did get the Grand Floridian tea for the 10th and hoping to resort hop that day to see the deco's then wanting to get a reservation for the Fireworks dining at Celebration at the Top that evening. It hasn't opened up yet, but in looking at previous dates the only night they do this is on Sunday's, so here is keeping my fingers crossed for this reservation.
