DIANE...I am sooooooo embarrassed...just looked over my calendar (I know...it's already the middle of the month
) ...and we TOTALLY forgot to wish you HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

...and don't feel to bad...I've had to use the "Roses Are Red" card TWICE already in messages on Facebook!
Oh geez!!! I see now, Diane's birthday was LAST SATURDAY!!! So sorry we all missed it!!!!
But, Karolyn, you are a Gemini too, when is/was your birthday!? Why didn't Facebook tell me? I don't see it on my calendar but as I remember you are a Gemini.
My birthday was Thursday the 8th. I had a good birthday, that was the day of the softball game. My daughter's high school softball team advanced to the state championship game. She pitched the best game. Sadly they lost 3-2 in the championship. Here's a picture of her with the runner up trophy. I wish it was closer they were all up on the stage after sports awards and I didn't know they were going to do pictures so I didn't have my camera and had to use my cell phone.
All the players got medals.
I personally think they should all receive miniature trophies 'cause they ALL worked hard for that trophy! But...that goes in the school's showcase, right? ... and they get those beautiful medals!

...hadn't paid attention this entire month...it's tomorrow, the 17th. We were trying to figure out when to do my birthday dinner AND Father's Day dinner so decided to do both on Sunday. Diane's birthday didn't appear on the Facebook reminder 'cause she's not on Facebook. 
Didn't sound like a "beautiful Florida afternoon" was in store for you! We sure could use some of those showers again; stupid hot, south wind has dried everything out again
