Any happy hours at monorail resorts.

Hmm, I don’t know that I have ever heard of a happy hour at any resort hotels. Disney Springs perhaps? Misners at Grand Floridian when the society orchestra is playing is nice. You can check times on the MDE app. Trader Sams at Poly is fun. Can get busy. Wave at Contemporary is ok. Tambu at Poly is ok. Service and drink/food quality ok, location pretty tired.

"Happy Hour" at WDW is when you return to a Disney lounge to discover that prices have not gone up since the same hour the day before. Usually I order 2 at the same time in case the price increase is happening while I'm there.

Don't make the mistake of ordering the "Nautilus" at Trader Sam's....... they don't put the prices on the drink menu for a reason. Had to take out a second mortgage for that drink and didn't even get a souvenir cup.

They have prices on the last page for all the drinks. We did not see it till after we ordered our drinks.

Hmm... there’s an opportunity in opening a “private” happy hour to Dis friends only in one of those new CCV cabins. Could probably charge $6 / drink undercutting resort options and make a killing!

We don’t order many mixed drinks aside from our vacation time(s) on property. With that said, I’m not terribly sticker shocked by the pricing. Beer pricing seems pretty dear comparatively but for mixed and drink menu items I don’t feel like it is hugely different than I see on bar menus elsewhere. But...YMMV

I dont think they have a Happy Hour but I highly recommend Minzers Lounge at the GF and Tambu Lounge at Poly :) Cheers!

They are certainly open during happy hour. It’s the happiest place on earth, lol. Just don’t expect discounts or free food.

Did you order it without the souvenir vessel? If you paid full price you should have gotten one.

Paid full price but didn’t get the mug because it had just opened and they didn’t have extras in stock. It was April of 2015.

And they didn't take the mug price off since they didn't have them? That's nuts.

I just checked the prices, I think I was shocked it was a $29 drink without the mug, because it really didn’t have that much alcohol in it. It really isn’t a 2 person drink. So for what you get I think it was extremely overpriced. Good thing I was in “vacation mode”.

WHATTTTTT?? We stopped in for a drink on our date night and our bill was broken down to $9 for the drink and $12 for the souvenir cup, and they even said if I wanted a different cup (from the one that came with my drink),* I could have it.

*you don't actually take the cup your drink came in - you bring your receipt to the person at the door and they hand you a new cup that's bubble wrapped and boxed.
