How many times a day do you *not* post?

I think I'm going for a new record...I've written out 5 responses to threads since 9:00 this morning and then hit the back button.

Man, I must really be in a nasty mood today! :teeth:

I can't tell you how many times I've hit the back button. As a matter of fact, I responded to this and hit the back button. :teeth: However, I decided that in the true spirit of non-responses, I ought to at least tell you about it.

I have days like this. It seems that I have days where my responses just don't sound very nice or helpful, so I hit the back button.

Well, I often write a response and hit the back button, however, I don't do it nearly often enough! :teeth:

Sometimes I'll write a response, then do something else for awhile before posting it--particularly if it's something that's got me up in arms. About 50% of the time, I'll just hit the back button so I don't say something mean or unhelpful.

I don't hit the back button...I just look at the thread, think in my head what I would like to say, and then move on!! This is the lazy person's way of not responding!! I hate to expend too much energy on some things. Now that I;ve used this much energy...please excuse me while I take a nap!!

sometimes I hit the back button. sometimes I post it, then immediately hit the edit button. sometimes I reply and then one of my kind friends PMs me and tells me to hit my edit button. (which is what happened this morning *sigh*)

I usually manage to do the right thing, which is hit the back button. Often. Frequently even.

There was a post I really wanted to respond to yesterday and I'm glad I didn't. Calling someone a tool probably isn't very helpful.

:rotfl: Depends what you mean by "helpful", cause that actually COULD be very useful for those of us who don't say what we'd like to!

There are some threads that make me shake my head and think: :badpc: , but I generally try not to get into arguments that will never be "won". More often, however, are the threads I don't respond to because I can't believe someone actually posted it in the first place! :confused3

As you can see by my minscule post count, I follow a similar philosophy. :thumbsup2 It took all the energy I could muster just to type out this response! :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Not as much as I used to.

I use the "hover" method to find out just what the thread is about. If it's something that might get to me I move on. The ones that sneak up on me like a grenade are the problems, you know, the ones that ask a simple question then turn into the Debate from h....

Most of the time I stay out of it but if I take the time to write it I submit it. I'm old enough now to know the repercussions and only submit what I can deal with.

I probably don't hit the back button as many times as I should. :teeth: I have been doing it a lot more lately though. Sometimes it just feels good to type your feelings all out, but it's not always productive to actually post it.

I am a firm believer in spiritual guidance. This is what God sends to me when he doesn't want me to post:

This is what I've been doing lately....I used to do the post it, and use the back bottom method, but I'm lazy now. :rotfl:

I wish I had the willpower to just not post, but I can't help myself. I need to learn when to just shut up.
