What is something you have never done, and people are shocked when you mention it?

Who is shocked that you have never done drugs? I don’t recall discussing it with anyone, never mind someone who would be shocked. Are you the type of person who would normally do something like that?

People aren't so much shocked, but they never believe me that I never tried any. Where I went to high school (somewhat small town in northern CA), everyone smoked pot. My high school friends all did, my college roommates all did. Both my sisters did, my younger one pretty hardcore. I even had a roommate who tried to get me to do ecstasy with him once. That roommate didn't last long. I have a great, super successful male friend who had a serious cocaine habit in college. He was my roommate for a year. One of the smartest people I've ever met. He was an engineer pursuing his masters at the time. Most of my best friends have tried drugs at least once, usually pot. I just never wanted to. I do drink and I smoked occasionally in my early 20s. But, never tried drugs (recreational ones...I use plenty of Rx drugs for migraines). My husband has also never tried drugs. It's pretty rare to find people who have never even smoked pot.

Everyone I know who has done drugs ended up way more successful than me, LOL. Maybe I should have tried them?

I have done all of these things, and I can't think of a single thing I've never done that would be at all surprising.

I'll try anything once except incest and folk dancing (I'm quoting someone else here, but I think there's some dispute about who originally said it, so I won't cite them).

I have never eaten a chicken wing nor ribs. I don't care how good they might be. Too messy for me.
JSYK, chicken wings taste like, well, chicken. :confused3 Are you not a "hand-eater" in general or is it just things with sauce that cross the line? Eating without utensils does take the guess-work out of which one is the fish knife and which one is the salad fork.

We took a cruise on Carnival once and I kid you not, BBQ ribs were on the menu on formal night. Luring people into tucking napkins down the front of their cocktail attire, I thought was an hilariously satirical wink ;) towards their reputation as "Wal-Mart of the Seas". :thumbsup2 Well-played, Carnival!

I've never ridden Space Mountain.

I love coasters, but my Disney trips as a kid were all while I was quite young and not riding them yet.

Disney as an adult has always been with my kids - who are now old enough / tall enough for it, but are terrified of fast rides with drops (so we haven't even gotten to thunder mtn yet).
