Great of you to give original attribution to kdn86.
I thought it was the right thing to do. That user has made 4 comments in the past 10 months (and 3 of those were today on this issue). Perhaps they've been attacked or downvoted to oblivion on r/churning before... Hopefully this is a better experience for them :)

And now me and the good DoC are exchanging some replies on r/churning. This made my night, lol. Yes I'm pathetic...and I own it...and I'm ok with it :) :)

It's the little things that make me excited!!
Oh gosh...I just read my comment again...and I have to do this guys...

Checked into the residence inn Anaheim resort/conference center for a DL trip with my middle DS tonight and got my 1st gold upgraded room. Watched the fireworks from our room and I can see the Incredicoaster from my bed! There's apparently a quarterly fire system inspection on Monday which means there will be strobes and announcements on the speaker system all day. We usually come back to the room for an afternoon rest and that doesn't sound super restful. Do you suppose I should be asking for some sort of compensation? Feeling happy about our upgraded room and slightly frustrated about Monday's inspection.

Ok so I posted this earlier before reading and everyone was in the midst of screaming into the void about Chase. Guess I'm now looking for answers/wondering how to even get this done with Chase...

So now I'm wondering if I do a Disney trip insurance policy, is Chase even going to be able to get it for me if they don't have access to Disney anymore? Can Disney do it for me directly if I booked through Chase? Are there other insurers I should look at?
I think getting a policy from somewhere else might be better but don’t have anything to base that on. When I’m booking a cruise I always use one of those online insurance sites with multiple policies to compare. Think it was something like insure my trip . Com. They have people who can answer questions too. Might research on cruise critic for more advise on insurance.

I can understand the inconvenience but since it's during the day and something they are required to do, whether it be by law or by corporate. Personally I wouldn't ask, I would find somewhere else to take the rest. Maybe a sit down lunch outside the parks or a movie. Head to the pool?

This is the second post that I've noticed this insurance co mentioned, the first saying that it was asterisked out when they typed it out. That's because the DIS doesn't allow it to be brought up here, whether it be typed out as an actual web addressed or as above to avoid the asterisk. We all know we don't have a mod on this board, though I feel bad for anyone that has to keep up with all of it, but we should still try to abide by the rules of the DIS by not posting about the companies they block. Yes, I removed it from the quote so as to not keep it going.

We are already pushing things with mentioning our reddit group here. Though I would think they would appreciate how it's been done and understand the reasoning. I'm sure they are aware this thread exists, it'd be hard for them not to with the numbers it generates every month. But we also want to continue to do what we do and help each other.
