I love credit cards so much!

Oh my word, I am never going to get DDs stupid PNC account set up. :badpc::badpc: First obstacle was she was not yet 18. Finally 18 but I had to wait to pay down the CC I was going to use because I stupidly dropped the credit way low after I got it and I had charged a lot on it. Finally ready to go on CC and now I get to the part do you have a valid driver's license? Do you need one? Can I put no and will it go through ok? Because when she turned 18, at school, 7 hours from home, her license expired. I just figured we would wait till she comes home on fall break to deal with it. So yes she has a license, no it is not valid. :badpc::badpc:

Anyone can help me? Will it go through without one?

Say what?! Where was this rumor?! I’d believe it. I see zero reason disney & Chase can’t come together on something better than what they have now...
LOL It was just a dream my heart made.:) Which I am delighted about now because if it comes true, it will be like getting pixie dusted. Especially if it's a great card. I'll be watching with interest. Wish that survey had come across my desk!

No idea. I don’t think it will work because how will they verify her identity?

I feel like such a dope because I can't remember all the details. I might see if I can take the survey again...just so I can post the new card's details here. I have a Disney Premier Visa, so that's why I got targeted, I guess. They made it sound as super special that *I* was getting a glimpse at this new card they might offer me, but I know that's just marketing trying to get me hyped about it. On first glance, I still wasn't sure it sounded all that great, but that's mainly because I rent DVC points and get tickets with UT, so unless this new way of booking resorts has some significant savings attached (I think they said prices would be comparable to what you'd find on some other travel sites like Expedia). And I'm now remembering that there was something about earning 10X Disney Reward Dollars...and I think that was on hotel/resort bookings through the Disney Rewards site.

I'll go see if I can take the survey again, LOL. My brain is mush. Long day at work.

I apologize if this has been addressed/discussed elsewhere in the thread and I just haven't dug deep enough to find it. As I kind of suspected when the whole change came about with Disney and Chase, it seems Disney is about to trot out a new elite "travel" card with Chase that has a $95 annual fee and has the ability to book their resorts through their own DisneyRewards travel portal that has lower prices. Different earning rates on the card (4 Disney Rewards Dollars for restaurants and most Disney locations, I think 1 DRD everywhere else), still has the other perks of the Premier and regular Visa.

I felt that was probably what was coming. I just took an 18-minute survey about it and I wish I had taken notes on the new card.

I would think this explains everything.
Was this survey thru Disney or Chase or was it one of those survey sites like E-Rewards?

. Oh gosh! I hope I didn't make you feel that way! I really appreciate you bringing it up because I was stewing on this all weekend wondering if that's what Disney and Chase were doing behind the scenes. It makes sense. Disney fans are loyal. Chase is looking for loyal card holders. It could potentially be a very smart move if they do it right and actually listen to what Disney fans (especially those who return year after year) are after. I'm excited about the prospect. I was planning to downgrade my Premier to the regular card when the annual fee comes due in December. It would be perfect timing if they roll this out in Q4. I'd be a happy mama.;-)

It's from Disney Rewards. The sender was "Disney Rewards" and the subject line was "Disney Visa Card wants to hear from you"

It's a very lengthy and involved survey that is obviously trying to measure how satisfied current Disney card holders are and how receptive they'd be to this new card.

And I can't take the survey again (just tried), so I guess we'll have to wait and see the specifics of the card or even when it'll be released.

No, not at all! I honestly figured I was late to the party on this and it would already be all over here and Reddit, but so far I haven't seen anything.

Like you, I had this suspicion in the back of my head and was actually hoping there was something in the works.

If and when it comes out, I hope they're smart enough to have a sizable sign-up bonus. A $500 Disney gift card would be nice. ETA: or $500 worth of Disney Reward Dollars.

I know it would never happen, but imagine if we could transfer UR points to our Disney card to redeem through the Disney Rewards portal thing. THAT would be incredible...but I realize highly, highly unlikely.

:badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc: Tried to put in with the expired expiration date, no go. Tried putting no and then they want a military id or a state issued ID. Guess I will be waiting another month to try again. Good thing this was the Hyatt card and I had 6 months to make the additional spend. Will be month 4 when I can finally do it so I hope it goes through or I will need to spend quickly when I have other MSRs lined up.

Doesn't matter. I like a girl who dreams BIG. Go big or go home. Bring it, Chase! We're watching! ;-) . (PS... don't make this subject to 5/24 or you will rain on my magic!)

Just got an email from RMN that my $15 Macy's reward is pending! I actually got two emails and see two pending awards, so I'm wondering if I got the reward twice. I initially went through the RMN site, but then also activated an offer from the MileagePlus shopping portal for 6 miles per dollar spent. When the RMN offer didn't go to pending right away like the in-store offers do, I thought maybe activating the mileage offer had deactivated RMN. Then I decided I would rather have the $15 cash instead of the miles, so I went ahead and ordered again through RMN only. Macy's is in the same mall as a shop I received a birthday gift card for, so I figured I'd be making a trip to the mall anyway and could easily return the first order. Now it looks like both orders triggered the RMN reward because I have two $15 awards pending! Obviously, I'm going to keep the first order that has the miles on it too. Does anyone know what will happen when I return the second order? Will RMN somehow claw back the award? It's fine if they do since I only intended to order once, but I'm curious about what will happen. Meanwhile, still waiting for payment for my pending Home Depot, Staples and second Walgreens purchases.

Haha! I liked your comment earlier about swearing you don't work for Chase. That's how I felt too! I swear I probably could work for Chase. Or Disney. Or Southwest. One of those three will be my retirement career when I'm done teaching school, I swear. LOL!

Oh my goodness. You've had such a hard time with this! I think she needs a valid license :/

I have to return the Macy's purchase I made also. Interested in my pending reward too. I'd expect them to claw it back. However, I have two rewards on my account that appear to be stuck and I'm thinking will never pay out. So, I'd accept the Macy's reward in the place of those :D

So the ticket discussion has bled in r/churning. u/nuhertz who is kinda the Disney expert over there feels that the Chase URs w/ Disney change and this new Ticket change are linked. I personally don't see the connection...Why would they remove HOTELS from the Freedom portal over a ticket change?

Wondering what everybody thinks here?
Initially the thought crossed my mind as well, but then I had the same thought as you...why room only ressies? I guess we could be optimistic and consider it is a system issue for everything.

well now, that is very good info. thanks for sharing.

I seriously just brought this up yesterday. lol @calypso726 I swear I don't work for Chase! It just makes perfect sense to me! @GPC0321 - SUPER curious about this card (rumor?). Thank you for posting! ps.. I wonder if that's what the $250 credit in the background of the video they used for the new ticket rollout today was actually for...
I have to admit, it crossed my mind that you are a mole. :flower3:

To me this doesn't make sense and isn't that different from what they already do. You can already use the reward money to book your vacation since that's the point of the card. And you can already book special Visa offers that are accessible only or early by having the card. So unless you can have this new card and transfer UR to it, making it more special that what they already have, I don't see how it would be much of a game changer.

The average Disney vacationer that is already using this card may upgrade if they do earn better for booking but your average Chase cardholder isn't going to get it and switch around their spend to a card that earns less unless there's a benefit of transferring UR or something.

I could be wrong but I don't see a more premium card being the reason Disney can't be booked.
