Quick Service Alcohol Selections

What's the latest info on taking a bottled alcoholic beverage at breakfast (to take back to your room for later)?

I did this many times at the contemporary cafe 2 weeks ago. I would buy 2 breakfast meals and take 2 wines back to room for later with my quick service credit (and I also filled my mug with coffee while I was there)
So there was no question about you ordering 2 alcoholic beverages at one time for the two credits used? I was wondering how this will work if you are ordering 2 meals at one time (assuming one is for you and the other meal is for another family member) if you don't have two adults standing there to verify who the two drinks are for (if that makes sense).

Yes, I did his many times at many different locations. 1 person is allowed to order 2 alcoholic drinks (using 2 QS credits). If ordering 4 drinks 2 adults need to be present. Twice I ordered 5 drinks and only had 2 adults at the order booth, that is when there was a slight problem... I say slight because they just had to see the third adult, so the CM delivered the last drink to the table for me so they could see the 3rd adult. They needed to see the third adult both times (when I ordered a 5th drink with 5 QS credits).

That makes total sense. I was curious how that worked. Thank you for replying! :goodvibes

Staying at POP in August. From reading this post it seems that I would be able to get an individual bottle/specialty cocktail as my drink? Anybody staying at POP have any issues with this? Thanks so much!!

We did this with every meal at pop, even breakfast. We just saved those drinks in the in room fridge for later in the evening.

Just a summary of my selections last week.

Mexico QS in EP had all their drink options included (we ordered 4 of the most expensive margaritas), very good
BOG also had all their drink options included (we ordered a peach Bellini, a mimosa, and 2 cab),
Backlot had all their drink options included (including the 2 holiday specials, both of which were good)
Flame tree BBQ had all the drink options included (the vodka lemonade thing was good)

As mentioned above, the contemporary pool bar was a bit disappointing (beer and wine only), but contempo cafe was a little better
Catalinia Eddies was also only wine and beer I think (we got sangria)
Yak and Yeti, also only wine and beer (we got sangria again)

For BOG - were you able to order the Cab at breakfast? I’m guessing so, as you mention the mimosa and Bellini, just checking, though.

I was hoping someone else would start this so I didn't have to. But alas, I love booze too much to wait. So here we go.

Bonus 1:

-If you're wanting some decent cocktails- any resort pool that offers food and drinks is included. Geyser Point at Wilderness Lodge is the standout for me.

Bonus 2:

-Disney Springs has some gems. Polite Pig is a personal favorite. You can get some $23 ribs and team it up with one of their ~10 $11 cocktails (moscow mule, margarita, old fashioned, gin & tonic, etc)

If I'm missing any, please post and I'll edit the OP. Not too worried about pricing, as they change too frequently.

Happy Daze @ ABC is Confirmed

My statement above referred to lunch. I was able to order a Bellini, mimosa, and 2 cab at lunch. I did not go to BOG for breakfast, so I can't comment on that.

Not sure if this has been posted, but the pizza window on the Boardwalk will let you have 2 adult beverages along with a personal pizza or meatball hoagie as long as you don't have a side. Just confirmed this as I was able to get a personal pizza along with 2 draft beers and only use 1 QS credit. Not a bad use of a QS credit IMHO.

Wow! And might I add that the BW Pizza is fabulous.....and very popular!

Sorry I didn't read the whole 13 pages but how do you know which drinks are covered by dining plan?

Sparkling wine at Pop! Any idea if this is a typical offering at other resorts' QS locations?
I think pretty much any individual size alcoholic beverage in the resort food courts' glass door coolers is on the dining plan.
