Makes you wonder if they have got some special workaround through Disney. I mean, if you ask me, those are wagons, no two ways around it.
But, is there going to be some wording in this that allows these to be used? They had to have known something was up for them to have issued this

If you look, that was posted on the 25th. At that time, based on the wording, the Keenz was allowed. Now it is not. On their FB, they say that they are "in discussions" with Disney.

Why not? We know nothing of her situation. I have a classmate who moved to FL recently. She often takes her twin 1 year olds and DS3 alone while her oldest is in school & DH is at work.
I said 4 young children the exact same age.

But you're right. I don't know her situation. Unfortunately, she will have to come up with something else if she does take 4 babies alone to Disney.

I am not a smoker and dislike the smell of smoke. However, I totally disagree with this rule. I don't care if a person is smoking and they are in the designated area. It is not that hard to avoid those areas and for those instances where you have to walk by one, just walk fast and get over it! What I hate is when I am walking in the park and someone in front of me is smoking and just blowing it back at the rest of us. THAT is rude. Thankfully that is few and far between and most smokers are very respectful of non-smokers. Now, the DRUNKS are a total pain in the butt. Nothing like walking with my kids through EPCOT with drunks all over yelling and using completely foul language and groping each other.

I'm actually surprised it took 132 posts for someone to bring up the Infamous EPCOT Drunks. That must be some kind of new record!

I was just at WDW a month ago and each day I saw at least a dozen of the pull wagons in the parks (full of stuff, no kids) that were against the rules. My guess is it became too cumbersome for them to allow the push wagons and not the pull. Obviously way too many CMs were t enforcing the rule or didn’t understand it. I’m happy for the change!

But if you are actually addicted to something, there is not much you can do about it. We go weekly. We have FP+ for Sunday. It's not a once a year thing where he can make a goal to quit. So yes, it will be inconvenient for us. Whether we all sit and wait inside for him or go out with him, that is a LOT of time just waiting for him to go in and out of the parks for a 2 min cigarette. He has always followed to rules and used the DSA's so this really stinks.
No offense, but I have a hard time feeling sorry for someone that goes to Disney weekly. LOL.

I suspect a big portion of the new smoking changes has to due with the massive increase in vape pens and the like. It's much easier to conceal those and take a few puffs while on the go. Many times you don't even realize someone is using one until they blow out the smoke in your face. As such, Disney probably said the only way to control their use is to ban them entirely. Yeah, it sucks for those that do smoke and follow all of the rules, but I think the parks will be better off.

not even all the push wagons as a number make the measurement guidelines

It said ALL WAGONS
of all types
Not just a measurement thing, but all wagons
The strollers are what have a measurement.

I have been addicted (to smoking) and yes there is plenty you can do about it.
Addiction is a choice that you can choose to break.
It's not easy but it is possible to get out of. It's not like an allergy that you have, or don't have.
So he is making a choice, don't let him off the hook about it.

Clear as mud.
Does this mean I can't bring ice in my resort mug?
What about a hydro flask?

Really Disney????
From the Disney World Faq Website
Why is loose or dry ice not permitted in your parks?
In order to improve guest flow, ease congestion and streamline the bag-check and entry processes, loose and dry ice is not permitted. Reusable ice packs are recommended.

What happens if I need ice for baby food, medicine, or some other item?
Reusable ice packs are recommended. Cups of ice are available at no charge at Food & Beverage locations.

Pretty sure the majority will follow the rules and I'm sure the majority already do, it's always the minority that is the problem

I am thrilled about the removal of smoking areas. Thing is, smoking areas don't exist -- smoke has never obeyed and stayed within the confined spot. I can't grasp why smoking is still a thing in 2019. I can see how previous generations became addicted, but today we have ample, ample, ample evidence that it's pretty much the worst health choice ever -- and not only for the smoker personally.

Ice, however, seems like a weird thing to ban. I've never personally seen a problem with it, so I don't quite understand the issue. Perhaps people were dumping it, and it was a trip hazzard?

we will see but I would be one complaining if that is smaller than another double stroller that is allowed and plus with it being higher it is easier seen in a crowd. have seen many people run into strollers when cutting thru crowds. guessing they don't see the lower stroller

While I can't say that's untrue, I also can't say it is true. And I've seen far, far, far more people using vape devices outside of designated areas instead of in them. Everywhere, not just in the theme parks. Their use is only going to get worse, so Disney is banning them and nipping it in the bud, so to speak.
