It was fine for a few days and then it said invalid - not even a number just "invalid". I had over $800 in that card so that gave me a mild heart attack. I called and was transferred twice before someone said they would pass it to a manager who would call me right back. Never did. Next day I called again (the 3rd number I was given) and spoke to someone who tried to have me wait for a call again, I said no and was then transferred to someone who actually fixed it. I had my money back in my account later that day. It was minus the GC I had bought with the Visa, so I checked the Visa and the money was there.

Wow! What a mess that must have been!

I just checked mine and they all seem to be okay. It's just that one card that I cannot transfer in or out of. No clue what is going on with that one.

For those with Amex Staples offer, ebates in store cash back is now up from 2% to 4% for Staples. I don't know how long this will last for. Again, if doing this offer, make sure to link your Amex card to your ebates account first, and then activate the offer. Then, make sure to also link your Amex card to your Dosh account.

I'm not sure if the % you get from ebates goes by the day you actually go to the store (ie, if I activated the offer yesterday at 2% but go to the store today when it is 4%, I'm not sure which you would earn.)

Has anyone gotten this error before? I bought a $50 GC a few days ago as a test run and had no issues. Now, I get this every time I try to pay. I have called my bank and there are no issues or flags or anything on my account. I have called Target whose right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing (on hold now with the 4th department and rep). Have they stopped this offer maybe?

EDIT: Finally talked to someone who explained what was going on. I have only had the Red Card since May (I never shop at Target) so I have a daily limit that I can purchase (which is so stupid). She could not tell me the limit but said it was probably around $120. I went back and tried a $200 card and it went through. I dont mind making a bunch of small transactions BUT apparently you can only make 5 transactions with Target to get this special. I was hoping for for 4 $800 transactions. Looks like it will be 4 $200 transactions. Bummer.

Do you happen to know if there is a max amount with ebates like the $5 per day max with Dosh? I'm not seeing anything in the terms about a limit.

I ordered a gift card thru RMN, then paid with Paypal using my discover, so that should be the same as if I used a redcard, correct? IF the RMN works?

The AMEX offers have been working on gift cards. It’s considered ymmv because gift cards are excluded in the T&Cs but it’s been working for a couple years like this.
