Transportation from Aulani to Cruise Port?

So we aren't renting a car. I found Robert's Shuttle that will bring us from the airport to Aulani where we are only staying one night.
We are on a cruise the next day and need a way to get to the port. It looks like the shuttle that Disney recommends as well as Roberts only go to the airport. I found a taxi service that will cost over $100 for two persons and found Speedi Shuttle very reasonable but got pretty bad reviews. Any suggestions?

How about Uber/Lyft. I'm also a bit surprised that a taxi would cost over $100 to get there. Have you checked Charlie Taxi?

Firepath, this is really random... but what year was your profile picture taken? To be more on topic, we'll be using Robert's in March :D

Uber is going to be the cheapest option. Availability in the Ko Olina area has gotten better recently.

I used Uber a couple of times during our May/June visit. Always got a vehicle in 5 minutes or so.

My profile picture is really old as my daughter is now 20 yrs. old and this was our first WDW trip- the one that started it all! So, I think it was 2002-2003 or so.

I knew it! The photo threw me for a loop when I saw it, as I was VERY good friends with Belle at that time ;) Your comment about being the trip that started it all made my evening and took me back to a very magical time in my life. So glad to have been a part of it!

Since you didn’t say WHY you aren’t renting a car.....I’d recommend renting a car ;). You can rent from Enterprise at the airport, drive to Aulani, then drop it off at the location right next to the port. They’ll drop you off there or you can walk if you’re a light packer (I’m not LOL). They actually didn’t even charge me the fee for dropoff at a different location, but that was pixie dust—YMMV.

When I saw your question, I was so HOPING that's why you were asking! How awesome! :)

Thank you. We didn't plan on renting because I didn't realize there was a rental location right at the port. My latest plan was to rent a car at the airport, drive it to Aulani and then back to the airport the next day where we would catch a shuttle to the port, but I like your idea better. Is it the Enterprise Ala Moana Blvd. location and how far of a walk would it be?

Yes, the one at 677 Ala Moana is right by the port. IDK why Enterprise doesn’t advertise that better; maybe because it’s a tiny location. They were super nice though!!

I called Enterprise and to make it even more confusing, there are two locations on Ala Moana Blvd. It's not the one actually called Ala Moana that you want, which they tell me is 4 blocks away and doesn't shuttle to the port. It's called Kakaako and they have a port pass which allows them to take the shuttle through the gate right up to check in. It should be noted that on Saturday, which is when at least POA leaves, they close at noon, and since you have to turn the rental in then walk around the block, they recommended arriving by 11:30am at the latest. The last shuttle to the port is at 11:45am. This is so much better than taking a shuttle from the airport. Thank you so much!

I realize this is an old thread … but we’re in the beginning phase of booking Aulani then Pride of America cruise in September. My husband has gotten so he doesn’t like renting cars so we’re wondering about airport to Aulani and Aulani to port.

Hele Hele shuttle from airport to Aulani and then what’s the best way from Aulani to port? We can rent a car if necessary, but I know my husband would prefer not to.

Thanks

I am with you, have not rented a car in years. You can contact Hawaii23, vans are old but they gave us excellent service and they had the best prices. Not sure how a rental car would work because the rental returns are not at the cruise terminal

That is soooo sweet! I originally had Charley's taxi booked to get us from the cruise port to Aulani (only staying two days post-cruise) and from Aulani to the airport. I decided to book a car with my work discount code. I won't have a parking fee because I'm renting points, so it was actually LESS for me to rent a car for two days than to take the taxi.

Great. I'll check them out. Thanks.
