**September 2019**

Good luck to those just now coming to WDW! We are sitting at the main pool at the Poly waiting for our room to be ready. Not thrilled we are in Pago Pago due to TTC noise but maybe it wont be bad? I love hearing the ferry horn so maybe it'll be ok. When we checked in the cm notelticed our room request of high floor with full balcony and she said we had neither, lol.....so she called a manager over and they were able to get us on the second floor at least. We also were supposed to move to CCV on Wednesday morning but dh was worried about the transfer and the possibility of us and our luggage getting soaked so the cm arranged for us to just stay here at the Poly for all 4 nights. We are getting some food for the room in case they close down the restaurants and we have wine already :)

Everyone be safe!

Less than 2 weeks to go. I don't pack until the day before. I will check in for our flight on Saturday and pack at that time. I always have my clothes lined up ready to go and i just grab the hangers and put them in my bag. I wear dresses mostly and so it's pretty easy packing.

We have 2 reservations for Oga's cantina on the same day. idk what i was thinking. 9am and 11 am. so i guess we will be in the area several hours.

We have 2 evening events planned-AK after hours and Typhoon Lagoon after hours. and all the extra eary magic hours !!!

I would cancel the 9am Oga's and keep the 11 am one. I cant imagine staying in there several hours as the drinks are expensive. Plus most of the reservations will be standing either at a table or the bar. It's a fun experience but not terribly relaxing.

We are heading to the airport area on 9/20 and fly out early on 9/21. I too am usually packed sooner than this but have been stockpiling some things in the guest room so I feel in good shape. I have a list I downloaded once called the ultimate Disney packing list and I have tweaked it over the years to suit our needs.
I use that list too. I print it out and then cross off the things I definitely won't bring. I printed it 2 days ago so I'm slowly getting there. Took out our luggage today

ok, pulled the plug and changed my trip to this Sunday (8th) vs flying out on Wednesday (4th). Dorian just too slow, I thought maybe it would work out but to no avail.
Now on to the FP to see what I can get. 😊
Hope everyone's travel arrangements are settling down, I hope mine are now.
ETA- FYI - no waiting fime for a Disney travel rep on the phone.

Not sure if anyone posted but for those there or planning to be there tomorrow, parks are closing early; MK E DS close at 3, HS AK close at 2, and no resort dinner reservations after 5:30, they will not penalize people for canceling last minute

We made the right decision. Flew in Sunday at 6:30pm. DME was full - half got off at AoA and the rest of us at POP. Headed to DS for drinks and dinner.

Epcot for Food and Wine. Ate and drank (!) way to much. A couple of CRAZY hard rain downpours. Lines short on everything - Sourin' 10min, Test Trak 10min, Frozen 25. As we were exiting Spaceship Earth got a notice our original flight from LAX was canceled.

So here we are, in The World, having a great time instead of trying to figure out when we can re-book and lose some days. Heading over to POFQ tomorrow.

Parks are all closing by 3PM. We'll hunker down for the worst of it...

11 days today and while I knew post Labor Day at work would be slow, it is TORTURE today. I keep recounting the days I have left, days at work and in office vs remote - and it's only 10:22 but feels like 3:15 at least.
Hoping all that are there riding out the storm stay safe, and those that had to cancel/rebook get some magic back soon!

13 days for us! Seriously lucky we've gone so often this year, this will be our 6th trip and I have one more for work in Oct. No packing done and I still need to order a shirt for HHN so I guess I better get on that! I also keep trying to fit in more restaurants but with F&W I need to have stomach room readily available each time I step foot in Epcot lol.

That is awesome you have already had so many trips!

After doing F&W with my husband for the first time last year, then going to Ohana for a late dinner, we learned our lesson! I have 1 lunch time and 1 entire day just for F&W to make sure we have plenty of room to eat all we want!

We have 17 days to go and I just pulled out our luggage. I am waiting for a few shirts that we ordered to come in, then I will start packing what I can. It's still hot here in AL, so I can really only pack the shirts we only wear at the parks ahead of time.

My sister and BIL were supposed to fly in to Disney World on Sunday, but cancelled on Friday morning because of the uncertainty of Dorian. Well, my BIL woke up that afternoon (he works nights) and booked them going to Disneyland instead! It is their first time and they are having a blast!

Moved my trip from Wednesday at 2:20 pm (tomorrow :() to Thursday for a 7:30 am flight from NJ to MCO. Gave back our DAH MK event for Thursday without a problem getting credited (my dd wanted to eat at Wine Bar George instead) 🍷🍸🍹 and was able to get my borrowed DVC points put back in its original Use Year, which was a gift to me.

Have Instacart food/alchol set up for Thursday delivery from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm and hoping all goes smoothly.

Just saw MCO isn't open yet and hasn't given a specific time of opening but hoping it will be soon.

Anyone else leaving from EWR on Thursday?

This morning (Tuesday) we dropped our luggage at bell service and went to MK at about 8AM. Mine Train 15min wait. Jumped from ride to ride; everything between walk on and 10min wait.

I expect that by Thursday it's going to be crazy busy here...

Wishing the very best for our travelers this week!! I'm trying not to get ahead of myself for our trip on 9/21. We said we'd never go during hurricane season again and here we are. That's how much we love it there.

We leave 9/21 as well. It’s the best month crowd and cost wise you just have the hurricane gamble! Look at it this way Dorian was a beast and people there only lost half a day and a few canceled up charge events.

Best wishes for travelers getting into WDW afer the big part of Dorian....good wishes for those of us that endured because of a good variety of reasons and couldn't get there. 😊
Love to hear from those that are here now.
I hope all are well and safe.

I plan to drop our MK fast passes we have for 9/27 as we decided to do DAH the night before. Have SDMT 9:25am, Jungle Cruise 10:55, and BTMRR at 1:20. If anyone wants to coordinate to pick them up let me know. 8-)
