What restaurants won’t you go to again?

These will be incredibly unpopular answers but if I’m being candid, Yachtsman Steakhouse and Sana’a were completely below par and we’re not particularly fussy people. I’ve been a fine dining waitress myself and the service at Yachtsman was incredibly slow (even for relaxed dining) and the meat was chewy and bland. Sanaa was our least favourite of all due to the fact we got stone cold food and it was mediocre at best. We’ve had so many great dining experiences at Disney these are the few but most notable.

Plaza @ MK. Wow, just terrible food, worse than average quick service.

Amorette's Patisserie - I was SO hyped for this place, and they looked absolutely amazing, but the taste was seriously lacking. No one took more than a bite of each selection before we threw them away, even my kids.

Citricos. Mostly because we had high expectations it would feel extra fancy and we used it for a date night, and while the food was decent, we felt it overpriced and not tasty nice enough to compete with other signature spots (CA grill, Tiffins, etc). The meal was rushed. If we were to spend that much $$, we would definitely go somewhere else.

Rainforest Cafe, just because we have one close to our home.

Another vote for Via Napoli. Expensive for what we got, sloooooow service, and it just wasn't very tasty. There are better options in Epcot.

I've never understood the Via Napoli raves. We went a few years ago. No real complaints but it was just nothing at all impressive. I do wonder if the people who really like it maybe live in a bit of a food desert when it comes to pizza? I know there are some places that all they have is a Dominoes and Papa John's. For a LONG time, where I live, it was somewhat like that. In the last 10-15 years, we've had a surge of woodfired or brick oven pizza places open that make this type of pizza. I guess I just don't need to have that experience at Disney since it's just about everywhere where I live.

I know most people love the Garden Grill but my husband just wasn’t a fan of the food there. I thought it was meh as well. So we won’t go back there. The character interaction was great though

No option to go back now but my vote would have been WP cafe, we got landed with this one evening having booked the 2 credit dining room upstairs and on arrival we were told there was a private function so tough luck. The food that evening was soooooo bad our server ( who was amazing) noticed we didn't eat any of it and took it off the bill. Service 10/10, pity the food was a sad 1/10 and that's generous.

Never say never
In the same boat. Every once in a while DW restaurants have a complete menu overhaul and often, but not always, it means better food and a better experience. The Wave is one good example. Seriously better than a few years ago.

On my once bitten and now shy list: O'Hana (rushed service and mostly flavourless food) & Woody's Lunchbox (hotter than the sun, no shade, fight for a seat to eat flavourless food).

It's funny to read through these because some people's never agains were great meals for us.
Chef Mickeys - I don't see any reason I would ever go back. It wasn't as bad as I feared, but not worth the price especially at breakfast.
Ohana - I love Ohana but we probably won't go back now that my eldest DS is vegetarian.
Tusker House - went way downhill between the two trips we dined there so won't be going there again either. Better options at AK.

Chef Mickeys- I can handle the chaos, but the place is a dump, lots of spilled food on the floor and buffet tables, servers aren't prompt with removing dirty dishes (they really stack up), and the food is barely edible.
Hollywood&Vine- same reasons as Chef Mickeys
BOG- Food is meh, salty. The noise is overwhelming in the main dining area. I expect it at a character buffet, but not at BOG. We've been twice for lunch, and we are done.
Ohana- Food is of low quality, service is incredibly rushed, waitstaff inattentive.
Kona Cafe- The last two times we were there, the food (scallops and chicken dishes) was overcooked to the point of being hard (scallops) or dry and fluffy (chicken). Replacement meals were barely any better. Nope, not going back (also desperately miss the coconut chicken with strawberry salad).
