I wanted a girl until about two days ago when I really started to think more about it. I think I’ll bond a lot better with a little boy and my brother has his two little boys. The majority of my cousins have had boys so it’ll be more fun for them all to play together. I really didn’t care either way though. If it was a girl I would’ve been just as happy

I have two boys. They are awesome. I think I'm better suited for boys. Traveling is the only challenge. You get out of the shower and you have to dress before you leave the bathroom. This is another reason I love cruising the kids are never in the room. I can shower dress etc without having to worry about it.
I know that seems like a small thing, but some hotels have really small bathrooms.....don't get me started on Europe and trying to guarantee two beds.

For those of you who do bank bonuses - how do you usually close out the bank account? I did my first one this year and need to close my Wells Fargo account. Do I just move all money out and then call and ask to close account? Can it be done through a private message (I really hate calling lol)?

Thanks for any advice! I'd like to try to get a few more this coming year.

I’ve used URs for rental cars and it does work like you described, as long as you picked a rate with no cancel fees. If it goes down you can book that one and cancel the first reservation.

I think they say there is a chance it will take some time (days) for URs to show up after cancellation. My experience has been pretty immediate.

Universal tickets are non refundable.

Yes, you can check to see if it goes down.
If you have enough URs you can book first, then cancel. I tend to use up my URs quickly and don't have enough to do that so I have canceled and then rebooked.
The points are put back quickly (as in minutes)
Correct, you are given a nonrefundable ticket voucher.

Each bank is different. I'm not sure what Wells Fargo's plan is but I've had to close bank accounts out via SM, via phone call, via fax, and even in person at times. If I'm being honest...the pain of closing the accounts is why I stopped doing bank bonuses. They just weren't fun for me anymore - I'm not telling you to stop doing them though! Just sharing why I don't now, lol!

Oh good! We are going to be making FPS in a couple of weeks. So, I wanted to have a tentative plan before then. I’m going to keep our dhs day as is.

Friend was at DHS this morning, arrived 45 minutes before park opening and got boarding group 65.

Go to the website and request a receipt for your ticket. Must have ticket # from reservation. If status says OK then supposedly you are good. Although I’m sure this can change at any time. That is why I have been checking daily. Worse than calling the Chase Status line a zillion times.

Thanks for the info! But, I can't figure out how to do this. I have an upcoming July reservation, but the only way I see to request a receipt is under the Help section at the bottom and it's for past flights. Is that what you did? Sorry, I must just be blind!

Unfortunately with Amex your option is to add up all the charges. You could chat and ask but I wouldn't trust that. No bonus tracker there unfortunately!
