To help me price out options what is the adult price daily for quick service and what is the adult price for table service?

Right now if we paid out of pocket for food, I am estimating about 120.00 a day for two quick service meals and snacks for three people based on actual prices from the menus on what we would probably pick to eat.

I currently have two table service meals that I have reserved but might drop. These would obviously add more to the cost for those two days.

Right now, I have an estimated cost for food for the three of us for 800.00 for five days.

Quick Service is $55 per person per night. Table Service is $78.01 per person per night. For reference purposes, the Deluxe Plan is $119 per person per night.

Thanks for the breakdown! This is our first adult-only trip, and it will be a better discount for my husband and I to get a room discount (assuming 20% for Deluxe, I know if could be more or less) than FD! When we have our kids FD is the way to go. We always upgrade to Deluxe Dining so have to pay a difference per night. Now I'll be happy for any deal!

first trip planned as a kid free trip-because they are all out of HS in the fall and only one in college-wow that makes me feel old!didnt book the bounce back when we checked out-crazy i know! with the dd getting married in october, wasn't sure we would do disney, but dh said "Oh H**L YES we are going to Disney" so with that i booked the trip 2 days ago for him and myself for our 26th wedding anniversary trip.(even thought of doing one less day and he was NOT for that-i guess I'm pretty lucky. not typical to see any discount for late oct, but we can hope. will go regardless, but it feels better to have the sense of a discount.

Have a wonderful trip. We went on our first solo adult trip in March for our 25th anniversary. It was weird but wonderful to be just the two of us. Fingers crossed that you get a discount of some type.

A question for the FD veterans here. I’m looking at the modify/change reservation page for my booking on MDE, when the FD offer drops and I’m trying to add it to my reservation should I be going to the “Vacation Offer” modification or the “Dining Plan” modification?
As of now the vacation offer just comes up with a message saying no other offers are available for your dates and the dining plan options are obviously just the standard dining plan offerings.

Go to the vacation offer and click free dining. It should walk you through, as you may need to change dates, room categories, resorts, etc....

If you find that’s not working, for whatever reason, make a new reservation.

So if I have an offer saved in my cart, is there a way to quickly go in and change it to free dining when the offer comes out or do I have to completely go through the free dining offer link

I haven't done it that way so I can't answer with 100% certainty but it's hard doing anything quickly on Disney's website on a big booking day, so I would either book it now and modify, or follow the FD link from the offer page, as opposed to hoping to change it in your cart. With Disney IT troubles, I think luck would be on your side to modify an existing res instead of following the link many others are following.

It’s possible, but I don’t know how quick it will be. I find it just as easy to follow the FD link.

If you want to try the cart way, go into your cart and click on edit beside resort. When it takes you back, there should be a FD offer at the top, assuming the dates from your cart coincide with the FD dates. If they don’t, you’ll need to edit your dates from your cart first, then edit your resort so the offer will pop up.

Hope that makes sense.

I'm crossing my fingers because our upcoming trip happens to hit all of the elements that were necessary for the 2019 promo...length of stay, hoppers, an included resort, and dates of trip. Now I just need them to make an offer with the same stipulations. :)

Hi everyone...booked a bounce back with free din8ng for August but not at my first choice resort. Keeping my eyes open for the announcements.

Is there a reason why you need to get up early in anticipation of FD. Will you miss out on FD if you don't book as soon as it comes out?

Sometimes it’s bookable online earlier then 6am the day it drops.

Plus, as the morning progresses, it gets harder to book online as well, as more and more people overload the system. Sometimes the offer just spins and spins, freezes, or you get an error page.

Popular resorts, dates and standard room categories tend to go fast, so earlier is always better.

:rainbow:Happy New Year! 2020 here we come! :car:

Thanks for the information!
Has anyone had any experience previously booking a FD deal and then modifying the reservation to add an additional person?
What about booking with the regular QS plan and then changing later to the TS plan? Can you do either of these things without messing up the reservation with the deal? I thought I remembered reading it is fine if you add people onto the plan later as long as you do not go over the room capacity without having to totally cancel and re reserve the room.
I think you would have to cancel the reservation and start over if you dropped a person from the room. Right?

I am just not sure at this date if my son will be able to join me, so I do not want to pay for him now.

A FD trip that may take 15 mins to book early in the morning can takes hours and hours with lots of frustration later in the day. As the word gets out that FD has dropped we crash the online booking and phone lines every-single-time!!

Booking earlier is ALWAYS better when it comes to new Special Offers!

You may upgrade from QS to table service at a later time without affecting your reservation.

I believe you can add/remove people (up to room capacity) without changing your reservation but I have never tried it.

A FD booking is a package booking so the deposit is $200 regardless of how many people are in the room.
