The DisFort's Chit Chat Cafe

And I'm sure there will be spin-offs in our future for years to come. :darth:
I just finished reading the TRoS spoilers thread. I knew Disney planned on additional "Star Wars" movies, but I thought they were fillers. Much like Rogue One and Solo. Apparently there is another trilogy to continue the story. I must have missed that somewhere. Next out (Episode X?) is in 2022.

After seeing it this week (TROS) and knowing the expense Disney incurred building the Stars Wars experience at both their theme parks, it seems inconceivable they would not keep the story going in theaters to encourage the much needed patronage at the parks. Passed on the legacy to our son, and he did to his son (our grandson). I, too, expect SW-X in 2022-2025 time frame.

And bankrupt too!

Actually tiggerdad it is quite the bargain. I mean it is pre ordering at $249.99. The average movie trip for two would be approximately $30 per trip, or more for two people. So 9 movies, and many, many hours of extras, maybe if lucky it contains the original movies before they were fixed, again and again. That would be awesome.

I feel like my internet family wants to know we made it home safely from Ohio in 11 hours. Only one patch of rain, got out ahead of the front.

on the Mallory front I am not super thrilled. She is not doing well, but she has so many things that could be causing that, am not sure if I should worry yet. One is being away from home. Trying hard not to freak out till at least tomorrow. on the positive front she did drink a lot once home, still not a good pee and she is constipated. plus not eating well but the constipation and antibiotics could be causing that. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day for her.

i know bert and I can’t wait to sleep.

Thanks for the update, Kris.

You are right about there being many things that could be causing Mallory's troubles. Getting back to a familiar environment should help.

Glad y'all made it back safely and prayers for Mallory, hopefully being home does it.

Chris, Glad your trip home was safe. Praying Mallory will be feeling great tomorrow. New on Arnold (Grumpy Aggie), He had an MRI on his brain today. Hoping they found nothing. Jan 8th will be the Pet Scan also hoping nothing lights up. Radiation doctor said since his tumor is large, Arnold will have chemo, not sure how many, & at least 6 weeks of radiation. Will gives us a better plan after viewing the Pet Scan. He is sleeping better, so that means I am also. We are wishing our forum friends a very blessed & healthy 2020. Tigger Dad, praying for your co-worker, that their treatments are going well & home soon.

PS: jbrostek & Mrs. jbrostek, You were in my thoughts on the 28th. Hoping the wedding went wonderful & now having a great time at the happiness place on earth. If possible, send pictures.

Hope Arnold is holding up well. You too of course. Let him know he is on prayer list at church.

Talked to my neurologist today, he seems to be tolerating treatments well per his report. Minimal weight loss and nausea. he is still at MD Anderson in Houston, TX.

On my front, the situation with my neurologist being out has caused the hospital to have to hire a new neurologist. The new one does not work with nurse practitioners. I've done some debating over the last several weeks about my options. I interviewed at a hospital in Tuscaloosa, AL, but this would of been a long commute, and drop in pay. At last second it seems my old position in the emergency department has opened up and the ED director called me and asked if I was interested. Ugly hours, 4p-12a 5 days week, but increase in pay and the ED was my "home" for 18 years so familiar territory for me.

Kris, glad Mallory seems doing better at home, prayers for her as well as you and Bert.

Looks like there will be a lot of change in 2020. I hope after a bit here everyone turns out as good or better then they were.

Happy New Year to all.

Prayers will continue for Arnold and Gloria.

Tiggerdad, changing jobs is always tough, but going back to a familiar home could be a bit easier, although, yes 2nd shift stinks.

We have made it thru the holidays, and the biggest add is a 3d printer. See if I can get this thing figured out when it arrives, maybe I can print a vent for our RV. I guess from here it is get the RV in the shop to be fixed, and count down to the Dismeet.

Mallory is enjoying her chicken water. i am afraid we may not be able to move away from it though. She is getting more fluids in her which is helping the peeing and constipation. I am hoping that means she will eat a little better tonight. She only ate half her food this morning but hoping with the movement this afternoon she might have more appetite. Still plan to see the vet tomorrow. I am fighting a loosing cause but hoping we might be looking up some. She also is barking at the dogs outside so that is good too.

WHAT?! Our loss is Meridian's gain. :confused3

Hopefully you got your prior time (and vacation allotment) bridged so you aren't held to a newbie's amount of vacation in 2020. (DISMeet 2020...)
