Desserts, Drinks and Dis Meets With Jen and Joe on the Go COMPLETE! 1/2020

Never been prouder that cheap wine in a cardboard box makes you think of me :P Of course that is better than roasted toasted corn or meth. If you start to make those associations I think we need an intervention

Changes, Changes, Changes... :D

Well, if you know me, you know that I can't leave well enough alone when it comes to changing Disney vacation plans. New summer, resort offers were released this morning so this, of course, made me start thinking...We have CL at Toledo Tower booked for July but we are staying in the Tower in March (without CL but I'm going to ask for CL access at check-in). So, should we keep that reservation or change it up a bit?!?! Should we stay at the same resort twice in a 4 month period? Nah! We should change it!!! Now, we are going to be staying at the Wilderness Lodge CL (my favorite resort in all of Disney for my birthday) for 3 nights with Caribbean Beach booked for our first night (this has stayed the same). I am beyond excited for this change!!!!

Today was also FP day for our March 6-7 reservation at All-Star Movies and I forgot all about it!!!! Sigh. See, that's what happens when you turn 50. Your brain turns to mush. Anyway, I remembered at about 10 am so I was able to book Navi River, the Safari and Dinosaur for the early afternoon before we have to head over to MK for the Villians DAH event.

On Wednesday, I get to book the rest of our FP's for our March stay.

And, in 9 days, I will be in Disney!!!! Yay! We are finally in single digits!!!!!

I totally understand your train of thought with debating whether or not to stay at the same resort twice. It sounds like you made an exciting decision. CL at Wilderness Lodge will be a splendid change. :goodvibes

Hurray for the Old Faithful Club!! I am jelly!

Another Resort Change...Are you Really Surprised?!?! :rotfl2:

Hi everyone! Well, I guess the title of this TR edition says it all...Yep, I changed another resort stay...We are no longer staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort from July 24-25. We are now booked at the Riviera Resort in a Delux Studio/Preferred View room!!!!! With the Fun and Sun discount, it was only $150 more for the night. And, since this is my birthday trip, I was all over it. Let me also say that I think this resort is waaaaaay overpriced for what you get. One can stay at the GF or Waldorf Astoria for much less. I totally get that. But, I really, really, really wanted to stay here because it looks so amazing. Plus, they have an adults-only pool and Joe and I are all over that. So, before we check into the WL for 3 nights, we plan on hanging by the Riviera pool for 2 full days with cocktails in hand...I'm also hoping to make a reservation at Sebastian's this night. Unfortunately, I can't make dining for July until the end of January. But, I don't think that dining reservation will be a tough one to get...

In other news, we go to Disney in 7 days. Yay! I am so excited to see my friends and to spend time with some of this epic group of awesomeness that Joe and I had the pleasure of meeting back in May. I am also super excited to spend time with our old friends @ariane37 and her wonderful husband, Steve!!!! This is sure to be another amazing trip and I can't wait!!!!

Tune in tomorrow for our next vlog. Joe and I bid farewell to 2019 and welcome 2020...

Oh, I Forgot (See, I told you your Brain Turns to Mush at 50)!!!

This morning was FP day for the rest of our March vacation. This time, I made the decision NOT to wake up at the butt crack of dawn. Instead, I rolled out of bed at 830 am, poured my coffee and THEN got on the computer. I was able to grab FEA, LWTL and SE for Epcot, Peter Pan, HM, and BTMRR for MK and the Safari, Dinosaur and FoP for our AK day. I know Mickey and Minnie's Train ride (I can't recall it's exact name, sorry) is coming to HS this weekend but I wanted to wait and see how they were going to allow guests to ride (that's why we have nothing booked at HS). So, we shall see what madness Disney decided to implicate here...Sorry, not a fan of the whole boarding pass thing for RotR. I think it's absolutely ridiculous to allow for that kind of mass chaos in one park...Sorry. Rant over...

Oh, I also booked FP's for March 7 before we drive back to St Pete for the night at Epcot. I was able to snag Test Track, LWTL and Mission Space. I'm not sure if we will go to Epcot this day or just wake up, eat breakfast and then drive back to the Gulf coast. We shall see...

Do the carts at Lucky Market have cupholders? That would make the experience perfect. Bartles and Jaymes is really a blast from the past!

What a true Sox fan to know exactly what was going on with them while on vacation!

I'm the queen of second guessing. I can't tell you how many times I've changed resorts and glad to hear I'm not the only one who does this. WLCL is the stuff of dreams! Riviera, too!

I'm not liking what I'm hearing about the boarding passes for RotR either. I really don't understand why Disney is doing this when all the other popular attractions don't operate this way.

I can relate to the brain turning to mush after 50. I couldn't remember a couple of my students' names on Monday since it had been two whole weeks since I had last seen them!

I am way more excited to try Riviera at some point than I was to try Gran Destino; we have a couple agents who have stayed at Riviera already and the pictures are gorgeous!

I love your hair in this vlog! Very cute!

Less work, more Disney. I could live with that!

The kitties are getting so big! It's amazing how fast they grow.

I have my fingers crossed that we miss the snow. If we do get it, of course it would be on a weekend and I won't get a snow day! Boo!
