What time did you book your boarding group if you don't mind me asking?

I didn’t look at my phone exactly. I realized this later. I was trying to be sneaky because I knew our odds and didn’t want my kids disappointed- they don’t realize we missed a ride that’s a really big deal. I took a pic of my parking spot at 7:04am, so I’m guessing it was around 7:20am.

Took us an hour from tapping in to exit. Y'all.........best.ride.ever!! Good luck to everyone who has yet to ride!!!
So glad you loved it. And I totally agree with you. This is exactly why everyone--me included--is willing to jump through a thousand flaming hoops to get to ride it. I'll be doing it again in May. Can't wait!

RotR BGs right now...

What once looked to be easily the worst BG day on record has actually surpassed Jan 3rd now and isn't even one of the worst 2 days on record.

One day, many years from now, I'll tell my grandkids about the day that RotR recovered from the depths of a 7-hour closure to accommodate 90+ BGs!!! 🤣 🤣

I think I must be the only person on the planet that hopes it stays 9:00 AM. We are getting off a cruise on Saturday Feb 8 and was hoping that if we can get in the park by 9:30 I might have a fighting chance at a backup BG. If it opens at 7:00 we have no shot.

You're not. We're going 2/5 and it's scheduled for 9am as of now. My family is always good to go early, but we're going with another large family and I don't know how they'll be. We're all staying in my rental house in Orlando together so I can't just leave them if they're not ready. Opening at 9am and us planning to be at the gate by 8am is far more doable than an hour earlier, especially since we're all accustomed to central time.

Yes, @kassonvike, you are alone. They'll be making a Twilight Zone episode about you next week.

Hmmm that argument never worked with my dad.
Me: "You can't just leave me here..."
Dad: "Oh I can...AND I WILL!!!"

🤣 🤣 🤣

I feel like it is INEVITABLE that they are moving those hours to 8am and 7am honestly seems like a reality at this point. They just don't know what to do with these early morning crowds.

One has to think that their return rate tonight is lower than normal (i.e. not everybody hung around this late) which is in some ways inflating the number of BGs they're calling back. On the other hand, who cares - for those who hung around, this is awesome!!!

We have a 8am ADR two days that first week of February. Really hoping park opening stays at 9am.
