Little less than a thousand on Chase biz. I have to spend by April 3. Easy as can be with our weekly Costco bill. Sad but true.

I have $4300 on new Amex Plat. My dilemma right now is if I should just pay cash for flights for our October trip to WDW just so I can help meet spend AND rake in those easy 5 times MR points. I think I will do it. I am just spoiled with paying for travel with points so it makes it a little painful.

We have met spend on DH’s Green but couple days out and points have still not posted. Stupid Amex!

Except that one time the Chase phone status line said it didn't know what I was asking about (for days and days) and that I hadn't applied for any cards... That was one stressful application process.

P2: finished BBP MSR just over a week ago and bonus already posted

Me: just under $1000 left on Amex gold.

It’s been over 4 months since I had a Chase app, so I’ll have to think about what to get next . Just kidding. No thinking required.

I’m less sure on what’s next for P2. I could use a travel eraser type card for him. He already has the Cap1 Venture. Not sure right now. He has room for one more personal card, I just have to figure out which. Maybe we’ll just wait another 3-4 weeks and go for another Chase there as well and cash out URs to pay for train tix and DLP.

Seem to recall something about Tuesdays with Chase Support points....perhaps they will show as pending on Tues/Wed this week.

Could be a week or several weeks. Chase is pretty regular about posting support points on Tuesday evenings ET. Keep checking back Tuesday night or Wednesdays. Have heard it take 4-5 weeks for some before, others it pops up the next week. I wouldn't worry yet.

Just booked flights for July for 4 people. Booked on points one way and cash for the return since we had some travel bank credits from changing Memorial Day flights earlier today. Saved 80k points on the points booking and over $1k for the cash flights. I don’t post a lot on this thread, (mostly because you guys are a lot smarter than me when it comes to travel hacking) but I follow it closely. I just wanted to let everyone know how much I appreciate all the contributions to this thread and it is truly the most helpful and welcoming thread on the DIS. I can only contribute by using support links (unless someone is looking for advice on military issues or DVC), and will continue to do so in the future. Thanks again everyone! You guys are great!

None of my kids have ever been asked for ID. I never get asked for ID anymore. For the last two years, I have almost exclusively used a cc that belonged to my dh or my dd19. No one ever asks me for ID.

I haven’t been asked for ID in a long time, until this past Friday. I picked up pizza and sure enough, got asked for ID. They even have a sign posted to have your ID ready. What’s with that? Interestingly, when I have pizza delivered from the same place I use my cc and no ID needed.

Our short pre-cruise Disney 13th birthday trip is becoming more real! First time ever for matching shirts!

Service was very quick and the manager came by to greet me and my spicy chicken dish was very good. If I wasn't watching carbs very closely this week, I would go back and have another meal. Next trip I'll give them another shot because of the warm hospitality if nothing else.

They must have better service than our local ones did. They recently closed the suburban Chicago location, and rumors are that the downtown location will close this year or next.

So we’re going to settle for the 9 which is supposed to be released in March, fingers crossed. Opened a CIP and plan to use URs to pay for 2 new phones.

Tickets at Work has 6 day hoppers for $940 or so I believe. That's a gate savings of $130 for two. #Fleeced

I’ve never found Tickets at Work to be a good deal. The prices look good until they add taxes/fees then they are higher than UCT.

6s battery should be easy to replace. i had my iPhone 6 battery replaced 3 times already. it was like $50.

We upgrade our phones every two years. I do it at Best Buy on Black Friday. They usually offer some kind of gift card 300 at least for Samsungs and a decent discount off I phones. We've been with Sprint for 13 years. We get 25% off our plan through my husband's work and then we get a 10 dollars off per phone loyalty credit for easy pay. I'm not going to lie I love my cell phone and upgrading is one of my splurges....that and Dooney and Burke DCL purses. It's also my kid's Christmas present every other year because they also love their phones. My DH, on the other hand, has an old dinosaur phone. He could care less.

That was the email I got. Then I called and got the 2-week notice. It took 6 days to get approved. Maybe they're just a little backed up right now.

Years ago my sister added me to her Discover card since I go to DL much more often than they do so I could buy her stuff while I was there with her card if necessary.

She just let me know today that "our" card number was compromised so Discover is sending all of us new ones.

It's not major, but do any of you know whether that would add to my */24? I don't think it will because I don't even see the original Discover on my Credit Karma... but... shouldn't I? Isn't that what I'm trying to do with adding my 15yo as an AU... build credit? So is it weird that I don't see that Discover anywhere? (I had forgotten I even had that card until she texted me this morning).
