Rise of the Resistance...ride discussion (spoilers)

Has anyone had any trouble of people not staying on their color and budging into the front row when they realize it? (I read these threads before bed, and last night dreamed a pushy lady took my seat in the front row...) in December, we were in the back, so would at least like a chance in April of being in the front!

On one of three times, our color was in the front and we had to sit in the back because others took that row. In the future, if my color is a front row I am going to try to not be the last one to exit so that others don't have the opportunity to take my color. Speaking of, which colors are front row colors?

I have a question about the 2 huge At-Ats. Are they supposed to move at all?
I have ridden RotR 4 times, and in all of my experiences, they don’t do anything.
The promotional photos show the “eyes” glowing red. I did not see that happen on any of my four rides. I know that folks report getting a “B” ride where not all aspects of the ride are working properly. It just seems like the At-Ats should do something, even if they at least had the red light “eyes”. Or is that it? Kind of a waste of what could be, if that’s all there is.

they don't move, if you are in the front vehicle (I think) you will get a facing forward view and they shoot at you, if you get the side view you just see the storrmtroopers on the "head"

Thanks for your quick response. It’s a very cool ride/experience, but the At-Ats leave me wanting more. Glad to know I didn’t miss anything.

They’re in storage on the ship at the moment we see them- they shouldn’t be moving. Apparently one is being inspected when we are escaping and that’s the one that fires at us.

Well, this is the first time that I clued in that this is where you were supposed to use our colour. We just boarded the pod and didn’t realize there were colors at all. We spoke afterwards about how we were wondering why the color thing didn’t come up again. Whoops. They should really have CMs directing that more clearly.

the CM that are loading the vehicle are rescuing you, they wouldn't know about color assignment
The CM that assign your color tell you that's your seat in the prisoner transport vehicle

So my dream of getting pushed out of the front row could really happen if people honestly don’t know to follow the color...

They didn’t say that. He said “this is your colour, remember it, it will come up again!” And we wondered why it never came up again.

Perhaps if there were corresponding colored markers on the floor to stand on when you go into the interrogation room?

The shape of the room would make that hard. I know on at least some of the times I’ve ridden the resistance cms are directing the colors to the right vehicle.

I mean, it did come up again, when you saw the vehicles. But I get people being distracted. Like I've said before this is the first of it's kind attraction, common sense tells people to move all the way down and still we need CM to drill it into people. This new type of experience is more fluid and requires the guest to pay a bit more attention, same as the Falcon

The room is definitely a weird shape. I swore when we first rode it that the "exit" from the room was going to be the narrow end. I even scooted to the back of the cell to be closest to that spot assuming that was the way out.

What do you mean it came up again? Where are the colors on the vehicles? We were assigned red. When we exited the room, we were the last people out and everyone just randomly ran into the cars. There were no colors anywhere, or I totally missed them. I forgot all about the color until I saw this thread.

What colors correspond to what rows/vehicles? Are the seats colored or are there markings on the floor? The CMs were not saying anything about colors.

When we were told to stand on the colors prior to the interrogation room the CMs did the whole “remember your color, it’s going to come up again” and said some other things I can’t remember but that stressed to look at our color, stay on that color for the time being, and to make sure we remembered it because we would need it again. This was all in character, but they made it obvious that we would need to get into something further through the ride that corresponded to that color. Then we went into the interrogation room that was shaped like a triangle in random order, but when we got out we had to go to the corresponding colored row. Or am I remembering wrong, maybe I mixed some of the order up? I just know no one had a problem, we all went to the correct rows (at least the 2 rows in our car). I want to say we were blue and were in the front of the car that went up right in front of the AT-ATs, but I’m really not sure about that color.

There’s led light panels on the side of the ride vehicle for each row. Each row will have a different color that corresponds to the color you were given.

our CM was very clear about getting in the row that matched our color.

the only movement I saw from the at at was the guns rotated down when they were about to fire

look closely at the side of the vehicles, each has the color, the CM also alludes to the colors in this video (9:45)

Thanks! I guess we rode in the correct row, then. We had red and were in the back.

Are all the vehicles lit the same way? Like, are blue and orange always the front rows?

I am not sure but I would think so
