UPDATED 01/14/20 - The FW DISMeet 2020-See Post #283 For Latest News and Updates

That's good because I heard @SouthAlabama5er was bootlegging it in from Texas and @bama_ed was footing the bill!

Two great guys I tell ya!

Footing the bill is fine (as long as nobody is driving after).

What would kill me is if tigger92662 was to tell us that bottle opener only cost him $2 at a garage sale.... Now THAT would hurt.

Thursday Night, Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween Party tickets purchased. Boo to You !!!

Likely it will just be myself and DW going on this trip so at this point we will likely skip on the Halloween party but if enough adults are going she might change her mind.

Our thought was during the week there are 4 MNSSHP. So getting to MK was going to be a pain, and the one day that they don't have a party will be packed to the walls. Since we only have Sunday until Friday night, figured I would get tickets, wanted to get at least one fireworks show in at MK.

Good point

The pay parties are getting crazy. I'm going to be there 16 days in October (1-17). There are only 6 nights of the 16 that aren't a Halloween party.

We did MNSSHP last year and just didn't see the value. We aren't really Halloween people, don't need the candy and it was crowded with limited rides open. Certainly not worth the $120 a person to us.

Agreed, the christmas party was pretty busy. But we got enough in to feel the value. Though DVC discount made it a little nicer. We have never done the haloween party, yet might at least once.

We're skipping the party nights and only doing one day at a park (prolly MK) on this trip.

Our MK day may be a non-party day which I know is busier but fer cryin' out loud, I'm happy sitting on Main Street bench with a bag of popcorn and a diet Coke (not during a parade) listening to the Dapper Dans (and hopefully sing a song or two with them again). We'll be back the following February with DD for a week and likely do three park days then.

I might bring an extra puzzle to work on during the lazy afternoons at the Fort. They'll be a few lunches here/there, a trip over to The Springs, etc. But there'll be more down time than go-go time. So I'll live vicariously through your MNSS stories as they occur.

We will only go into the Park at 4pm that Day, so for us it is like buying a one day pass.... maybe hit Disney Springs earlier in the day.

I don't blame you for the one park day, This is our 4-5 year trip so we have to try to pack everything in at once. We don't go crazy at the parks, if we get to everything, fine, if we don't, that's fine too. Doing things this time we haven't ever done before like, food and wine and MNSSHP.

That's what we did last September. For the DIS Meet we will have APs so I won't have that advantage. If I really got a lot out of it least year, I'd probably spend the money. For us it was nearly as crowded, especially when we tried to get a spot for fireworks, and they didn't have as many things running. I think we sat in front of the castle for an hour waiting for fireworks and still didn't have a great spot.

Just thought I'd drop in and give an update. Couldn't leave during your all's prime time because of work but we will be there Oct. 14th through the 19th so I guess we'll be able to meet a few of you before you pull out. Should be fun!

Hate you won't make the meal, but if things go as they usually do, there will be smaller "gatherings" a lot of evenings. Looking forward to meeting you.
