Chase business support links not working for anyone else? Trying to generate one from me for my wife and I get an error repeatedly.
I think the links on reddit still work....but new ones aren’t being generated

edit...just checked the links in our disboards reddit group do still work...so if you have posted there you can use it
Yeah I never posted a link unfortunately.....went back to try and find old ones from email as well and no luck.
Yeah, you might wanna use support from DISchurners, because some of us think the old deal is going away, and the generate link not working is the first phase.

You all are my best source of info. DH's contract is switching over, it's been a stressful few weeks here, but we've finally heard the words we needed to hear. I've been told the new company funds an HSA each month as part of their benefits. We've only done HSA once in the very far past before I was well into CCs. What do I need to know? Do I recall I can still pay via my CC and use the HSA to reimburse myself? The only part of health insurance I ever pay attention to is that my neurologist and my vision are covered leaving the rest up to him to figure out.

It's funny you posted this. I just got on here and caught up, but checked the Washington model about an hour ago and was really happy to see that news! Hope the models continue to look better for us.

What?! Oh man, I loved the movie! Totally cried at the end!

I'm interested to know which company it is for painting. We also need our house painted and I was going to call someone right when everything blew up to come out and give an estimate. Obviously now I'm pushing that back out due to social distancing but also wanting to hold onto some cash for a while longer.

I'm sorry, that's so tough. My grandma is in a Chesterfield nursing home which, thankfully, has been safe so far. They stopped letting visitors come in over three weeks ago now. Have you considered getting one of the Alexa's with a video screen to set up in her room? We have one for my 98 year old grandma and it's perfect because you can "drop in" on her and literally she doesn't have to touch a button on it or do a single thing with it. She has no idea how to use it, but my mom and her siblings have it set to automatically answer when they call so sometimes they can even just drop in for a couple minutes and just make sure she's eating lunch, comfortable, whatever. Before she was in skilled nursing, my uncle actually once dropped in using Alexa and discovered my grandma had fallen and was able to call the facility to help her (not the facility's fault, my grandma refused to use the button to call them when she fell).

It wouldn't help you right now since you can't get over there, but going forward it may be able to provide you some peace of mind.

That’s a great idea. Unfortunately, I think it might confuse her given her mental state. Plus, she is rarely in her room. Its a very small facility, and the residents congregate in the common area for most of the day. At least she is getting some socialization. And I am thankful for the staff; they are very compassionate. I just hope she remembers us when we’re finally able to see her again. Ugh.

I need to figure this out too. I looked through the paperwork that came with thr card and didn't see any info. I asked the hr lady and she didn't know and said I could just uae the debit card and I said I want my credit card points. She didn't get it but the new hr temp was nodding along with me so at least she got it.

Going to look on the website and hope I can find the answer. Also need to figure out when the money will start coming out, I thought it would last week since my coverage started the 1st but will have to see when I get paid this week for last week. We get paid weekly.

I always pay medical expenses by cc and then reimburse myself from the HSA. No issues at all.

We’ve used an HSA for about 5 years now. My DH’s employer contributes to it and we do too to max out the amount allowed by the IRS. We have a huge deductible (5K per person, 10K family max). So, we are responsible for a lot. I do use the credit card that the HSA gives us for small things such as generic prescriptions that are only a couple of bucks. Otherwise, I pay the provider (ie. PT clinic, MD, surgicenter, more expensive RX) with whatever card I have an MSR to work on or whatever will give me the best return. Then, I log into the HSA website and reimburse myself. Right now, I’m a little short in the HSA to reimburse myself but I just keep good records and pay myself back when I have it.

I pay all doctor's visits and copays with a credit card and submit the bills from the doctor for reimbursement. Easy.

Another United question. Purchased tickets to London using United points for the fare, but using Capital One Purchase Eraser points for the (outrageous!) British fees on the return. Today United decided to re-deposit award points without a re-deposit fee on cancellations. The question is will I also get my Capital One points back since they were just used to erase the return fees out of Heathrow? Thanks as always!

That shouldn't be. My boss was stuck in Peru. He gave me is account # and I went to the bank and did a deposit for him.

Maybe it differs by bank? Just reporting what I've experienced at my bank.

ETA- I googled and found an article. Apparantly the biggest banks (BoA, Chase, WF) have policies to not allow cash deposits into an account for unauthorized individuals. They still allow check deposits because they can trace where that money is coming from. This is to help prevent money laundering. At least that's according to the article. I'm sure different banks have different policies. Hopefully this helps! I honestly don't remember who posted the question to begin with! 😁 Long day of work and homeschooling!

Thank you all for chiming in! Now we await the paperwork and then I'll know who we have for insurance next month since there are 2 to choose from. It's crazy, I usually stress a ton over contract change, but this one I've been relaxed about and it's the one that's been full of curve balls. I think it's more that I just don't have the energy to worry about it. He's taken my worry and stress though, he's usually the more relaxed one. He's on the "must hire" list and that's all that matters to me right now.
