I just saw a picture of Big Ed that was posted on Facebook from many years ago...he was not bad looking and pretty buff! According to the story posted, this picture was supposedly leaked and Ed said that his photography business is taking off! It also mentioned that Rose is currently happy with someone else. Not sure if you can believe all you read on Facebook. It also said that he has some kind of condition that fuses the discs in his neck causing him to look like he has no neck.

So just curious. Ed and Rose and the Sti/std conversation.... this is a very normal request in Europe. People coming out of a long relationship have an sti test, particularly if they suspect/know that their partner has cheated and people about to begin a sexual relationship normally have an sti test. Is it not ‘the norm’ in the US?

I don’t judge people by appearances they can’t help like no neck or height. Ed is so gross. He creeps me out so much I feel nauseous at times like the scene where he talks about their night together You can tell Rose is forcing herself to the max for a chance at a better life. She doesn’t even want to kiss him pointing to her cheek or forehead when he asks for a kiss.

I wish everyone was brave enough to ask/get a std test. I think it was the way he did it though. A conversation about them both going to get tested wouldn’t have bothered me as much. I absolutely think she would still have been offended but I think it wouldn’t have seemed so badly handled

I have been married for 27 years. Back then we were required to have blood tests for our marriage license. They tested for syphilis, HIV, etc. When I became pregnant, I was tested for HIV again. When I was dating, it was not unusual for people to get tested before engaging in intimacy. I never would have been offended if a potential partner asked me to be tested, but I would have expected him to do the same.

I have no idea what the deal is now. I don't blame Ed for wanting Rose to be tested, but he should have done the same for her. It's only fair.

Except for the mayonnaise...OMG...the mayonnaise. Imagine how he must smell. Why can't he invest in high-end hypoallergenic hair products? They are out there, because my DD uses them.

I saw that picture too, he was a good looking man.
I hope Rose did the right thing and said "no, thank you". She is clearly not into him and should find someone who makes her happy, she's a young girl.
Plus, he is very skeptical about her, not a good start to a relationship.

We got to watch him do his mayonnaise “treatment” and then not wash it out in an episode early on. I screamed through the whole thing. I was begging him to wash his hair and take a shower the whole time.

Sadly, my country is honestly prudish in that aspect.


I have no problem with someone saying hey can we go together and get tested to ease both ourselves and each other.






The request from Ed was one sided and hypocritical.
He wanted her to have one. But he refused to get one there.

I love them. They are my all time favorite couple. The love is real. They are adorable together.
