Disney Springs area hotels

There are plenty of hotels near Disney Springs but one that (actually 2) that I'd recommend is Hilton or Waldorf Astoria Bonnet Creek. These resorts are relatively new and they offer transport to Disney Parks and Springs

Thanks. We have resv at the Doubletree Disney Springs....but 1.) not sure if they'll be open for our visit next week (first week of June) and 2.) didn't have too good of reviews. The Sheraton Vistana and Bonnet Creek also came up, ....any opinons on those?

Wyndham Bonnet Creek has a hotel and has timeshares with suites on Disney property but not located at Disney Springs. We love it and would return again in a heartbeat. Sheraton Vistana is a huge timeshare complex not on Disney property but about 1 mile from the north end of hotel row north of Disney Springs.

if you will not have a car, check transportation options from each resort you are considering. If you do have a car, many timeshare resorts do not have resort fees and do not charge for parking. Some do. The hotel at Bonnet Creek has additional fees where the timeshare side does not. These extra fees can add up fast, so make sure to check them before deciding on where to stay.

What are some recommended hotels in the Disney Springs area (non-Disney)? just 2 adults, no need for suites.

Any opinions on the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs area?

I've stayed at them all but Holiday Inn and Best Western (bought by Drury) many times. I have to say at this point I'd consider them all just average for different reasons. I have stayed mostly at offsite hotels since their resort & parking fees have gotten so high.

I am a Hilton person; I enjoy the Doubletree for the suite space but doesn't offer much more; the Hilton is off our list never a good stay, too spread out and not worth the high price; Palace has awesome pool, room was fine but the walk from tower everywhere a drag, might return to island room.

B Resort have had many stays and I enjoy it but I know the boutique style is not for everyone; Wyndham Garden I'll never go back to, no matter the decor the rooms were shoe boxes. The Best Western is run down, once the new Drury tower opens I would have interest. Holiday Inn gets good reviews.

If you want to stay close to Disney with shuttle buses included look at the Bonnet Creek Waldorf Astoria, Hilton or Wyndam Grand. They provide coaches buses to Disney. While these properties are not on Disney property like Disney Springs they are as close as you can get since you have to cut through Disney property to get there. A Marriott is being built there for future stays.

When you see Wyndham Bonnet Creek RESORT or Sheraton Vistana Resort - these are "condo" units that rent via timeshare or cash. I've stayed at both. Honestly if I could stay at WBC every trip I would. Last trip we had wonderful lake and firework views from our big balcony. The Wyndham Grand sits among the buildings and they share amenities. Vistana units are very nice and there are amenities, it's just very spread out and not walk friendly to us. It feels like an apartment complex. Not sure these would make sense for a short trip.

Sheraton Vistana is nice. They are condo-like with nice kitchens and room to spread out. The complex itself is large. Some of the pools are large, while others are much smaller. I don't know how important pool time is, but if you plan to use one of the feature pools, you may or may not be close. I'd have my own car or plan to Uber to the parks if I stayed here. There is a complimentary shuttle, but it doesn't run as frequently as the DS hotels. But no resort or parking fee, and the rates can be quite low, especially if you hit it right on a site like Hotwire. No housekeeping.

Bonnet Creek is an area. There are two main options: Hilton and Wyndham

The Hilton Bonnet Creek and Waldorf Astoria share a complex. Upscale with beautiful grounds and pools. The resort and parking fees can be quite high, though you can often score good hotel rates through 3rd party sites. The Hilton is 4-star, and Waldorf is 5-star and much more luxurious than Disney Deluxes. Both offer a good, frequent shuttle to the parks. Both HBC and WA offer the 60-day FP booking window and access to EMH.

Wyndham has timeshare condos in Wyndham Bonnet Creek, and a hotel, the Wyndham Grand. The condos have no resort or parking fees; the Grand has both, though they are less than at the Hilton. The Grand has complimentary shuttles to the parks; WBC allows you to use the shuttle but it's for a fee, and it would probably make more sense to Uber or have your own car. Both the Grand and WBC share a very nice, compact pool complex with slides, lazy rivers, mini golf, etc. Grand is a 4-star hotel; WBC is timeshares so no housekeeping.

Honestly, I'd stay at any of them.
