Which ADRs will you be (re)making?

Now that everyone’s starting at square one with dining reservations, curious which reservations you’ll be attempting to remake that you had, which you were happy to let go, and which you’re excited to have a new shot at?

Personally we don’t do a lot of TS because usually the good places are booked solid but would love to try Victoria & Albert’s, California Grill, Chefs de France or [insert a must-try here!]

I would want the ones I had, if possible. BOG lunch, Tiffins (even if there are no packages if ROL isn't running), Oga's, Raglan Road.

Ahh I forgot about Oga's! We had the good luck to go during opening weekend last Sept w/o a res because they had space for walk-ins and it was so much fun, I would definitely do it again (and after 2 of those cocktails I was feeling brave lol)

We're hoping California Grill will be available. And we would still like to do Topollino Terrace for breakfast, even without characters. Otherwise we're trying to keep an open mind and consider that we may do more counter service meals than we typically do.

I'll probably just re-book what I had assuming they're all open (Kona Breakfast, Sanaa Dinner, Boma Dinner, Wave Brunch). And then I'll try for Cali Grill brunch - our FAVORITE thing on property! We're doing a resort-only stay (in August) so I'm glad I won't have to be trying for the in-park restaurants.

I didn't even think about what a trianwreck Oga's will be. Having to social distance in there will really cut down on their capacity. Last time we went, we were crammed at a tiny, standing-room only table with 8 other guests.

We have not been to Disney since Galaxy's Edge opened, and our trip was planned to spend at least 2 days there. We were so excited to get to try Oga's! I'll prioritize that one if I can. Beyond that, we'll hope for one of our favorites at Epcot. Surely with so many good places there, we'll get lucky? And the rest we'll just "play be ear."

Will definitely prioritize Oga's since the main point of this trip was so my Star Wars loving guys can spend time in Galaxy's Edge. Also want to do the lightsaber and droid builds. Hopefully we can get our others back as well since we managed to get some great ones. Sci Fi, Liberty Tree Tavern Thanksgiving dinner, Beaches & Cream, Ohana & Tusker House breakfast (with or without characters). My heart is breaking again just thinking about all of the great stuff we lost and wondering with reduced capacity if we will be able to get any of it back. 😢.

We had a FD trip booked so our trip (if we take it) has jumped substantially in price! :( We may make 1 or 2 ADR's (if they're available) but am guessing this will end up being much more a QS trip for us to help recoup some of the $$ lost from the FD promo.

Something else we'll need to take into consideration if booking ADRs is transportation. Since the parks have such reduced hours, we'll need to ensure we can still get back to our resort once our ADR is finished as I don't want to add unnecessary transportation costs on top.

Makes me wonder something (and I know there are way more questions than answers right now) - but could we even make a reservation for BOG or Tiffins without first having a reservation to enter the park that day? Seems like that extra level of uncertainty for theme park restaurants. I guess we'll find out eventually! But I'm expecting a dining reservation won't be enough to get you into the park - the park reservation will be the only thing that gets us in for the short-term.

I’m going to try to get O’Hana again, late after the parks close. And then Be Our Guest, Liberty Tree Tavern, and 50’s Primetime for lunches. My new plan is to eat local dinners after we leave, except Maybe Epcot

We have a resort-only stay mostly before the parks reopen. I need to see what ADR's are still going to be possible (Will California Grill be open? Will Jiko?) I also have a Homecomin' and Jaleo reservation I want to make for early July.

I'm only 34 days out from my trip and I've only been able to rebook some of the Disney Springs restaurants through Open Table.... waiting not-so-patiently to find out what will happen with the rest of them.

Thanks for reminding me about Open Table, I just made reservations at Boathouse and Morimoto.

We plan to do more table service this time around. However, I hope Disney can add more outdoor seating at some places. I feel like the Quick Service restaurants are always packed and it’s difficult for me to imagine social distancing at these places. Like, we are always scrambling for a table at pecos bills. I’m interested to see how it will play out. Will they possibly open restaurants that are typically closed? For example, Tomorrowland terrace? (Not that I would want to eat there! Lol)

It'd probably be easier to say which ones I won't go after - I think we'll likely skip Hollywood & Vine, possibly Akershus, and Ohana. I will still try for Boma, BOG, Yak & Yeti, and maybe Trattorio al Forno (though without characters I'm not sure it'd be worth it). We are also supposed to be there during Food & Wine, and I was hoping to hop to Epcot a couple of times for food... waiting to see how that pans out, as well.

We are DDP and character meal people, so there's a lot I wouldn't rebook. But if I got the same perfect 8am PPO times, I would still do GG without characters because I love the food and the raspberry mimosa and turning through the ride...and to get on Soarin'without any wait. Same for BOG for SDMT.
I would consider 1900 Park Fare because I like the food there, too--but they would *have* to lower the price to reflect no characters. Like, at least 30%, esp considering other changes any buffet might have to make.

Since no one knows what restaurants will reopen and when, this subject is a moot point.

Oga's for sure. But none of the others really matter at this point. We chose them with our original loose hopping plan in place, and now, no hopping, so no plan! :)
