Military Salute tickets amidst COV-19

After following this thread, I sent my dad a message earlier this week and told him to give ordering from SOG a go. He emailed them on Wednesday, they responded with the price list on Thursday (with a preface of "Please submit your order in the next couple of days we will do our best to get to your order before Disney asks us to stop selling tickets"), he submitted the order today (Friday) and they called back same day to take payment and he has received the Fedex tracking info.

Update
My sister is at the base and they can sell her the promotional tickets so we are getting the five we need. They do not have any 3 day base only 1 day base :-(. We will call the shades to see about those 👍
FYI - 3 day base and 1 day base are not promotional tickets. The military promotional tickets(best priced) are 4, 5, and 6 day park hoppers.

I emailed SOG last night and was told this morning today is the last day to purchase tickets for right now. My dad tried the ITT office here but they said they are awaiting advisement from Disney. So we ordered from SOG and they should be here next week.

Glad we got our promotional tickets yesterday. I had no issues linking them into our my disney account. I am very glad I read the disboards because we would have never realized we needed to act quickly.
Thanks !!!!
The day tickets where really for me for New Years, I know that they are not as good as a deal as the promotional tickets but I could use them to get into Epcot for New Year’s Eve when I am blocked out. I figured if I was not able to get a park reservation I would. It be out any money because those tickets never expire and do not have a date they have to be used

They did not have any promotional with water park add on
Water parks are not opening anyway

I know you were in a time crunch and everything but fwiw, Shades does ultimately do the sale over the phone.
I am unaware of any with blackout date too.

anyway as long as you got what works for you and your are happy but in The future you could possibly save more by doing it differently

We use the promotional tickets during the year but we usually try to keep a few MYW 1-day base tickets around to use during the holidays if and when we pass through Orlando to visit family in Tampa area. Last year we did Christmas Eve in MK and it was a huge saving vs buying 1-day tickets at the gate and we were able to do FP, etc.

Are you sure the tickets don't expire? Any I've seen all have a 2030 expiration date.

Do you think the six day promotional ticket that I got for 301 each yesterday on the base would have been cheaper if we had called the shades of green and got through to someone that could sell us those tickets over the phone ???
My sister did try to call the shades but could not get through, she emailed them but got a response today that they are no longer selling those ...

All annual pass vouchers, sog or tickets That are not date specific say 2030 I believe but I guess we shall see when 2030 rolls around ...

No, the price for the 6-day military salute park hopper via SOG is $301 as well.

When are you going? The tickets for $301 expire 12/18/20 yet you mentioned New Years as well

We got the promotional tickets for our end of July trip and wanted single or multi day tickets for New Year’s Eve

Other note. If we do go in September, and water parks are closed as well as no park hopping. We paid an extra $50 per ticket for the park hopper plus option. What happens there?

That is what I want to know too! We paid for the plus option and are going in August. I'd be happy if they had miniature golf open so I can use even a smidgeon of the plus option. Otherwise we're eating $150. :(

They did not have any promotional with water park add on
Someone else beat me to it, but if they are allowing it (and water parks are open) you "should" be able to add on the water parks once there. It can be done at the SoG ticket counter. Of course that's if this option is available--we don't know what all they are allowing these days. I never buy the water park add on because I know I can do it on site if we decide to do water parks during the trip.
